Graduation Schedule INFO Commencement, which signifies the end of a successful student career at Saint Edmond and the beginning of being Saint Edmond Alumni, is rapidly approaching. In preparation for this transition, the following information includes detailed information to help you plan for all the senior events leading up to and including Commencement.

Tuesday, May 17 Awards Day - 1:00 pm The awards ceremony will be held in the auditorium.

Before the Awards ceremony the students will have the opportunity to pay off any last minute charges owed to the school, clean out their lockers, or tie up any and all other loose ends.

Caps & Gowns - Caps and gowns were ordered in December and have been paid for out of the senior fees collected during registration. They will be distributed following the Awards ceremony, and seniors turning in their end of the year check off sheet Wednesday, May 18 Finals for Seniors Finals for Seniors regular school time 7:55am Thursday, May 19, No school for Seniors

Practice for Baccalaureate and Graduation will be Friday, May 20th. To start the day, seniors will meet by the computer lab to participate in a mandatory “Senior Walk” through the elementary and middle school, which will lead to Commencement practice.

Seniors will be dismissed from school after practice. *Please contact Mrs. Acree to get an approved excuse if you are not able to attend practice.

Sunday, May 22 Baccalaureate and Commencement Information Baccalaureate Mass The Baccalaureate Mass will be held at 8:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church on Sunday, May 22nd. Students are expected to be in the Library by 8:00 am.

Commencement Seniors report to the Library by 12:30 pm.

Commencement begins at 1pm at St. Edmond Catholic School on Sunday, May 22nd in the HS gymnasium. Gym opens at 12:30 for open seating.

Graduation Schedule INFO continues Parents and friends are asked to take all pictures AFTER Baccalaureate on Sunday, May 22nd or PRIOR to 12:30 pm before the graduation ceremony. Pictures are not encouraged during commencement exercises.

Attire for Baccalaureate and Commencement For baccalaureate and commencement, men are asked to wear a shirt and tie. No coat is necessary. Men are also asked to make sure they have a clean shaven face for the ceremonies. Women are asked to wear a dress of appropriate length. No slacks, please. Jeans and/or tennis shoes are not permitted. Only gowns will be worn to baccalaureate Mass, no caps.

If you are not dressed properly, you will be asked to correct the situation. Gowns will be worn for senior walk and baccalaureate.

Caps and gowns will be worn at commencement.

Please note: Before you may participate in Baccalaureate and Commencement, all books, magazines, and other materials from the library must be checked in by 8:30 am. Please make sure all fees are paid, this includes lunch, sports, activities and tuition.

If you have questions about any bill, please contact the Saint Edmond Catholic School Business Office at 955-6077.

Seniors must have completed ALL requirements for graduation and be a student in good standing. Thus, we must have Final Grades by Thursday, May 19th for all correspondence work and Friday, May 20th, or all make-up work.

During this time of transition for the Class of 2022, let us remember that God is our guiding force, and we should continue to thank Him for our many blessings.

Graduation Honors: St. Edmond Honor Society Members will wear gold cords.

Students earning a service award will wear a silver cord.

Students ranking in the top 15% will receive green and white cords.

Students earning a 4.0 of the class will receive gold medallions.

At the commencement ceremony, all students who have achieved an eight semester cumulative grade point of 3.70-4.0 will be recognized as Summa Cum Laude, a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.53.69 will be recognized as Magna Cum Laude, and a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.23.49 will be recognized as Cum Laude.

APRI 2 Engineering Tomorrow Summer 2022 Virtual Summer Camp - Student Application

The Engineering Tomorrow Virtual Summer Camp will be offered as follows: Session 1: July 11, 13 and 15 (Theme: Healthcare Week) Session 2: July 18, 20 and 22 (Theme: Renewable Energy) Session 3: July 25, 27 and 29 (Theme: Aerodynamics & Space) The camp will be 3 hours in the morning each day. There is a question in the application that asks for your preferred start/end times.

Students may apply for one, two or three weeks of camp.

Applications are due by Friday, June 3.
