Welcome to the 39th Annual Friends of Saint Edmond Ball! It is so great to be back in-person again. Our theme this year is “Sharing our Faith, Creating our Legacy… Together”. It is so fitting as God has blessed us and allowed us to gather again to share together in support of our children and their development through Catholic education. It takes a village, and what a great village we are! It brings me great joy to see so many of our alumni return to send their own children to St. Edmond. It shows the value that is found in Christ-centered learning is treasured and something that is hoped to be passed on. With my first year in this position, I am overwhelmed by the generosity of our Friends of Saint Edmond. The support everyone has shown throughout the year, especially during Ball preparations, has amazed me and I would like to extend my gratitude to all of you. I would like to specifically thank our chairs, Matt & Sarah Cosgrove and Chad & Molly Schaeffer! They graciously agreed to head up the ball with a rookie and have been fantastic leaders throughout this process. They have put a lot of effort into securing great auction items and coming up with a fun evening for all to enjoy. I appreciate all the time and sacrifices they have made to put on a great event. I would also like to give special thanks to Kim Stuhrenberg for all of her hard work. She manages and records all the gifts brought in for the Ball alongside her work for the parish. Thank you to Travis Patterson for all his help on getting everything online to work and helping with the presentations this evening. Thank you to all who attended or donated wine and whiskey for our “Pull” tonight. We had a lot of fun at that event and we appreciate the donations to help raise more funds for our school. Thank you to all the committee members and ladies who helped send invitations, request donations, and sell raffle tickets. Another special thank you to Tom Miklo who has been a great mentor and has spent the past year traveling and guiding me in this new role. All of his previous efforts in planning the Ball have helped to make the transitions as smooth as possible. May God Bless all of you and our entire Saint Edmond Community. We are so lucky to have this great school and parish in our community. Thank you for supporting our mission of helping our students grow in mind, body, and soul. These kids are the future and how great it is that they have the opportunity to be formed in a Catholic School together.

One of the goals is to sharpen the focus of the religion curriculum. With that we would like to invest in a new Religion text book series.
