Hello Fall! This is my favorite time of year.

Ienjoythechangeofweather,simplybecauseitisachange! Thefallandwintermenusarehere!Everyseasonweliketo changethingsupinthedietarydepartmenttooffersome differentfoodsthataremoreseasonalinnature.This providesresidentswithdifferentoptionsandkeepsmore varietyintheday-to-daymeals. Someofthemainchanges youwillnoticeareintheofferingofmoresoups,fall vegetables,aswellasachangeofdessertflavors.Pumpkin andappledessertsareverypopularonthefall/wintermenus. AsthismenucyclewillrunthroughlatewinterduringLent, youwillseethefishandmeatfreemealsofferedonFridays withthisnewcycle.Wecontinuetoevaluateacceptance ofdifferentmenuseachtimeweservethemandwillmake changesaswegoalong.An"alwaysavailable"menuof soups,sandwiches,etc.isstillanoptionforasubstitute ifaspecificmealisnottotheresidentsliking.

Wealsoareworkinghardtogetpreferencesbeforemeals areservedtoallowevenmoreflexibilityandavarietyof optionsforresidentsatmealtime.Whilenoteveryonelikes change,youcanrestassuredthatthefacility’sfavoriteof roastbeefandmeatloafmealswillstillbeservedonthis newcycleofmenus!
