HappyMother’sDaytoallmothers, thoseherewithusandthosewe havelost,newmothersand thosewhohavesufferedlosses, letusneverforgettheimpact theyhavehadonandinour lives.

Mayhasalwaysbeenaspecialmonthhereat theMarianHomefortworeasons,1)we celebrateNationalNursingHomeweekand 2)wecelebrateourNursestheweekofMay 6th–May12th Thisweekisatimetoreflect andremembertheamountofhoursandcare eachNursegivestoallofourresidentseach year.Therearedefinitelygoodtimesandbad orsadtimes.Eachdayisdifferentandspecial initsownway Somedaysweleavehappyand proudofthetimewespentwiththeresidents ordforthosethatareillorhavepassed.Each residentholdsaspecialplaceinallofour hearts.I,asDirectorofNursing,wanttothank alloftheNursesforeachdayandalltheydo withaspecialprayerforNurses;

WearewellunderwaywithourSpringcleaningand maintenanceworkactivities(bothinsideandout) toensureourfacilitycanproudlyprovidecozy, inviting,safeandattractiveareasforourresidents, tenants,&familiestoenjoy Thepatiosandseating areaswillsoonbesetuptoalloweasyaccessforour residents/visitorstopeacefullysitnearthemany flowersandplants,orjustwatchthebirds-atthe manyfeeders,orrestwhiletakingastrollonthe windingpathwayshereattheMarianHome complex!Thewaterfeatureinthe“PrayerGarden” isexpectedtobeflowingbythefirstpartofMay.

Iampleasedtosay(knockonwood)thatthe apartmenttenantsarenotexpectedtobeimpacted byanymajorrepairorupdateprojectsthisyearat theMarianVillage.

Aswechangeoverfromheatingtocoolingwith thenewermini-splitunitsintheVillage,Iencourage younottohesitateifyouwouldlikeassistancein operatingthetemperaturecontrolinyour apartments.

Reminder: Theeasilyaccessible,L-shaped,raised planterbedintheVillagecourtyardisavailablefor ourtenantstogrow/tendtovegetablesorsimilar typegardenplants

Project update: Whilelittleworkappearstobe occurringwhenlookingattheexterior,insidethe MHAssistedLivingcomplexrenovationworkis movingforwardwithamajorityoftheinterior demolitionworknearingcompletion.
