ABBY LAWLER

Abby Lawler has been involved in multiple musicals over the past few years and has brought so much joy to the stage Throughout high school, she has been involved in volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, Play Like a Champion, Honor Society, showcase, and yearbook She is undecided about where she would like to attend college but plans on majoring in Elementary Education Her favorite memory of musical is showing up early to hang out with friends while getting ready for the show



ANDEE BARWIN
Meet Andee Barwin! She has been in choir throughout all of high school and has also participated in show choir, musical, and all state show choir throughout her career She is an active member in St Edmond sports including football and basketball cheer, wrestling, cross country, track, and other clubs! She is also a member of the student body Her favorite memory of musical is sophomore year dancing with Aleah Anderson and Ansley Oswald and playing the role of “ mean girls.” She plans to continue cheering collegiately at either Iowa State University or Notre Dame, while studying pediatric child life with minors in social work and political science.



KARA MCGONEGLE


Kara McGonegle has been heavily involved in music at St. Edmond including Concert Band, Jazz Band, Gael Force Show Band, Musical Pit, and Gaelic Choir. She has also participated in Golf, Softball, Volleyball, Quiz Bowl, Youth Ministry, Student Ambassadors, Pastoral Council, Student Council, Honor Society and 4-H. She has been involved in many musicals including cast roles in Aladdin Jr , Beauty and the Beast, and The Little Mermaid through Stage Door Productions and in the pit for Freaky Friday, Willy Wonka and now Annie through St Edmond Her favorite memory is jumping into the pit instead of using the stairs and all the jokes that came out of the Willy Wonka pit Next year, she plans to attend the University of Northern Iowa majoring in music education and school psychology and minoring in social and emotional learning and mental health. She plans to be a band teacher and eventually a school administrator.



EMMA DAVIS
Emma Davis has been at St Edmond for all her high school years and been heavily involved in speech, musicals and the music program. She has had many accomplishments such as choral All State in 2022 and 2023, participating in Hawkeye theater plays, and involved in Iowa Central's play “Makin It.” She has been in many speech events involving speaking and singing. She is so excited to be Mrs. Hannigan in this year ' s musical, which is her last at St. Edmond. She has been overjoyed to have such a big role in St Edmond’s music program and has loved growing in music and personally year after year She hopes to continue music in her everyday life even after highschool and continue to grow musically “Where words fail, music speaks ”



ZACH MIDTLING
Along with doing musical for the past four years, Zach Midtling has kept busy in many other ways in his high school career Zach has participated in choir, show choir, chamber choir, all-state choir, all-state show choir, Dorian music festival, solo/small ensemble, church choir, band, jazz band, UNI festival of bands, speech, quiz bowl, filming for the football team, vbs, honor society student council, student ambassador, and Gaels cast Zach will continue to pursue music at the University of Northern Iowa to become a choir director. Zach’s favorite musical memory is all the different backstage conversations that he had during runs of Willy Wonka.

DENNY EHN


Denny Ehn is a senior at St. Edmond Catholic High School. This is Denny’s third performed musical. Past musicals include Annie, Willy Wonka, and Freaky Friday. Denny has been involved in many high school activities, including Choir, Chamber Choir, Show Choir, All-State Chorus, Speech, Showcase, Play Like A Champion, St Edmond Honors Society, Track, and Football Manager
Denny plans on attending Loras College to study either Religious Studies or Philosophy
Denny is undecided on a future career Denny’s favorite musical memory is hanging out with friends during practices and shows


MAYA NEVERMAN



Maya Neverman has been highly involved in the music program these past few years and we are very sad to see her go Over her years involved in the musical, she has played the roles of Ellie in Freaky Friday, Ms Tevee in Willy Wonka and this year plays the role of Lilly in our schools production of Annie In high school, she has been involved in basketball, volleyball, tennis, cheer, musical, show choir, chamber choir, choir, honor society, youth advisory council, Play Like a Champion, speech, and all state show choir She has this year held a leadership role in majority of these activities Next year she plans to attend Iowa State University to major in Marketing. She is not quite sure what she wants to do when she grows up, but marketing sounds like the route for her. Her favorite musical theatre memory is either getting the lead her sophomore year alongside senior Jordyn Putney or being Jonah Carlson’s mother in the musical last year. It has been so much fun to build. closer bonds with the other students involved.
