THE HEAD AND THE HEART PART IV It has now come official The head and the heart know That to a new friend Their love will have to go I feel sorry for these two Their life is a mess Head comes up with great ideas All Heart gets is stress The truth is that poor heart Has been broken so much That it will be completely shattered At the next wrong touch.

And at that next wrong touch, They’ll be no fixing back This poor little old heart Might have an attack.

So head must be careful What is his next plan Or this messed up poet Will revive Mirror Man

A CHRONICLE FROM THE MIRROR

I need a mirror, at my side To let it out, all that I hide Poor poet, so gentle is he He’d never let the truth that be But me oh no, that’s not my way Every F***ing thing I must say And if you don’t like it, F*** I don’t care That your stupid problem my loving dear Tomorrow this poem, the poet will see Then he will know the mirror is FREE!

Instrument of life Right now I just live life day by day.

Because I don’t know which way to say or how to play, My instrument of life; my instrument of life.

So, I ask you my good friend, to stick to me until the end Where you’ll hear sweet music, with my children and wife My sweet music of life; my instrument of life.

THE HEAD AND THE THE HEART PART V Over the last 4 stories The head and heart would fight Trying to prove to each other Who’s idea was right But a time is now upon us Where these two can take no more Attempting with much failure To get the girls that they adore.

Oh these two, the heart and head Together from the start.

When the first girl came into sight They said they’d never part Yet here we are sometime later And they look like great foes.

All of this has come about because of their love woes

THROUGH THE EYES OF A THIEF THIEF Good they are gone, now it is time To do this thing; yes commit a crime To do this now, I am quite afraid But I need the money, the financial aid Three daughters I have; must pay child support That is what the judge said when we were in court A good job I can’t get, I dropped out of school, Everyone knew me, to be the class fool.

So to survive what must I choose?

There’s no option, every way I will lose.

I break in the house, through the window I enter I cut the metal bars, at the weak point, its centre.

I look around for things expensive but small In my big backpack is where I put them all I head in the master bedroom, look in the lady’s drawer Take all of her jewelry; leave the boxes on the floor.

These people have nice stuff, good money I’ll make I did not want to do this, but it’s for my life sake.

I crawl out the window, with my stolen load Put the bag on my back and walk right down the road.

And just in time too, the family pass me by And deep down, in my heart, I begin to cry Oh yes I was nervous; while doing this bad deed And in the garden of evil I planted one more seed Of my actions I’m not proud, once again I must say, And it hurts me even more, as time goes day by day.

DON’T JUDGE Who gives you the right to judge beauty? beauty?

I can’t can’t judge you, so don’t judge me All you see, see, is my bruised and cut up face Not my heart with all its grace.

You see my hair, all natty and dread Not the great thoughts within my head.

My hands; hands; all dirty, dirty, if you judge on looks But those same hands have have written books Yes, this dirty looking and ugly man Has done more than you; you; and he still can.

So please don’t judge on what you see Take the chance, and learn, learn, about the real me!

And only after that, to you it will be known What real beauty is; and how how it is shown.

show me love

All you people know me to be great So sweet, loving and kind But what none of you people know Are the thoughts within my mind.

Yes, I am all those things that I say And even more things I try to do.

I care, and try to help you in every way, I’ll be there when you need me to.

I call you so often to see how you are And make sure that you are still alive And by doing this what I do is: Give our friendship food to thrive.

Yes I call you so often But I want you to see Is how often it is that you all call me?

Because sometimes, I just need to know that you care And a call can do that so well And every time I receive one call Feels like a day less I suffer in hell.

Because friendship is not a one-way thing In both directions it must be strong And it is only when this task is complete Does friendship become lifelong.

So please do this thing that I ask of you With your care I will rise above.

But the one thing that I’m asking in all of this Will you please just show me some love.

LAST WORDS VOL 2 If You Were To Die, Where would you want to be?

I want to be in my bed, Dying peacefully My last words will still be As I said before When I reach the end of life’s path And close my final door The words again: “I love you, and please don’t cry” I say ‘Cuz I loved my life And would not have had it Any other way.

And as life leave me as I begin to die Remember that I love you See you later, not goodbye…

ONE DAY I wish that us two, could just spend one day; Together, with distractions far, far away.

And when we are there, I will let you see Who exactly I am; show you the true me And also I hope, the true you I will know Then our love for each other, we can both show And every time I think of that place, I remember happiness, and always see your face,

NEW LIFE New life alas is what I see New life comes out of this old tree And this happens with the poet too From an old page comes something new Go on and read See how this one is told, ‘Cuz just like the tree, There is new and old.

PLEASE STOP

Please stop, can’t you see; What it is that you do?

You’re not only destroying yourself, But destroying me too.

You habits have overtaken you, In almost every way; This causes me to see less of you Every single day.

Because each day that passes, A piece of you dies; And with each tiny death, A part of me cries.

So in this here poem, What I’m trying to do; Is say stop with the bad.

And bring back the old you.

AN INVITE To all my friends, I invite you, To an event so grand and true An event of what? You Might just say Reunion, Christmas or a birthday?

My reply if you wondered, what it would be, I would have to say, all of the three!

THE BEAUTY IN HER EYES I must admit, it should be no surprise That the first thing I saw on this girl was her eyes.

And when those same eyes looked right back at me, We made a connection spiritually.

Did I know her name? No; not just as yet.

But I had to find out before my heart got upset.

I stood there just looking, she looked back at me.

And in the next second, a smile I would see.

I walked over to meet her; she also did the same.

In a short while, I’d know this beauty’s name We instantly bonded, to no one’s surprise That’s how I met this angel, through the beauty in her eyes.

Now when I showed my 1st poem to this girl Pen and paper she took out She began to copy every word Now what was that about?

I forgot to dedicate one to her In volume number four So I decided I’ll do it here And thank her even more ‘Cuz she gave me some advice once That when I achieve fame Never forget who my friend’s are Teri-Ann is this girl’s name.

Yes Teri, I forgot you That was my big mistake And not that I’m back in the game My skills are now awake.

So again I must say thank you A great deal you helped me.

And after forgetting you in my last book I hope u accept my apology.

The list is still quite long, so please do not think, My dedications are now complete.

Because as time goes on, so does my list.

As more friends I continue to meet So please keep following by poetry books And you will continue to see Who my true friends are,’ cuz these are the ones Who created “THE BEST OF ME”
