Swim‌‌assessments‌‌are‌‌given‌‌on‌‌Mondays‌‌or‌‌on‌‌the‌‌ first‌‌day‌‌that‌‌the‌‌camper‌‌chooses‌‌to‌‌swim‌‌for‌‌the‌‌ week.‌‌Campers‌‌may‌‌only‌‌take‌‌the‌‌swim‌‌assessment‌‌ once‌‌per‌‌week.‌‌We‌‌do‌‌not‌‌offer‌‌swim‌‌assessments‌‌at‌‌ other‌‌times,‌‌such‌‌as‌‌a‌‌pre-camp‌‌swim‌‌assessment.‌ ‌ ‌ A‌‌camper‌‌who‌‌does‌‌not‌‌pass‌‌the‌‌swim‌‌assessment‌‌ has‌‌the‌‌opportunity‌‌to‌‌take‌‌the‌‌swim‌‌assessment‌‌the‌‌ next‌‌week‌‌that‌‌they‌‌attend‌‌camp.‌‌This‌‌gives‌‌the‌‌ camper‌‌time‌‌to‌‌progress‌‌and‌‌work‌‌on‌‌becoming‌‌a ‌‌ stronger‌‌swimmer‌‌before‌‌retaking‌‌the‌‌swim‌‌ assessment.‌‌Campers‌‌who‌‌pass‌‌the‌‌swim‌‌ assessment‌‌may‌‌still‌‌be‌‌asked‌‌to‌‌stay‌‌in‌‌the‌‌shallow‌‌ area‌‌at‌‌times‌‌depending‌‌on‌‌certain‌‌factors‌‌such‌‌as‌‌ fatigue.‌ ‌ ‌
