Thompson’s 20th Anniversary in leading Ringling College in his visionary mission to become the preeminent art and design college in our country and across the globe.

During Dr. Thompson’s tenure, Ringling College has experienced significant physical and programmatic expansion, as evidenced by ten new buildings and renovations; increased enrollment from 880 to over 1,500 students; international enrollment growth of 350 percent and growth of degree-conferring programs from six to 13 majors. And our supporters have helped make a Ringling College education more accessible than ever, increasing annual scholarships awarded from $350,000 to over $13,000,000 annually.
