Our trip to the Mountain West lasted three weeks, during which Jake drove almost 6,300 miles through 13 states, crossing flat prairies and high mountain passes. We were blessed with remarkable weather and encountered no rain.
Focusing on outlaws, we visited the birthplaces, hideouts, and robbery sites associated with Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Wild Bill Hickok, Billy the Kid, Jesse James, and the Dalton Gang.
