Welcome to Spoon River College! As you learn about SRC, you will discover people, programs, and services that are designed to help you be successful.

I know you will find that SRC is dedicated to your success through our small class sizes, free tutoring, and the flexibility of our growing list of online classes. Maybe the best part: SRC offers this outstanding education for thousands of dollars less than you will find at other higher education institutions. ACADEMIC CALENDAR 2021-2022

Fall Interim, 2021 August 2 - 20 Interim session

Fall Semester, 2021 August 19 Professional Development Day (Faculty) 23 Classes begin

September 6 Labor Day (No classes – College closed) 20 12-week classes begin

October 1 Last day to withdraw from first 8-week classes 15 Midterm 18 Second 8-week classes begin

November 12 Last day to withdraw from 16-week classes 19 Last day to withdraw from 12-week classes 22-26 Fall break (No classes) 25-26 Thanksgiving holiday (No classes – College closed)

December 3 Last day to withdraw from second 8-week classes 17 Classes end 20-31 College closed for winter break

Final exams will be completed by the last scheduled class session, and final grades will be due the Monday following, by noon.

Spring Interim, 2022 January 3 – January 21 Interim session

Spring Semester, 2022 January 3 College resumes normal hours of operation 17 Martin Luther King Day (No classes – College closed) 18 Classes begin

February 11 Professional Development Day (No classes – College closed) 14 12-week classes begin 25 Presidents’ Day (No classes – College closed) 26 Last day to withdraw from first 8-week classes

March 11 Midterm 14-18 Spring break (No classes – College open) 21 Second 8-week classes begin
