Todays teams have had a lot of competitive games in previous seasons, with both teams knowing how to play good football. Luke and Gate will both know that todays game is as important as any, as they try to pick up as many points as possible to edge away from the bottom half of the league.

As for this week we only played on Tuesday just gone and I have to say I can’t believe we managed to leave empty handed. Although Hanley took their chances I just felt that we were the only side ever looking like winning the game. A special mention has to go to new signing Kieran Feeney who scored on debut and was very lively throughout. I feel we have signed an excellent player in Kieran and he can help us to pick up some much needed points. Having previously played with Barnsley as a pro it won’t be long until he gets his match sharpness and starts to influence every game he plays. As a team we have to cut out these individual errors and be positive and believe in ourselves.

We have trained well on Thursday at the ground and feel we are slowly clicking into place as a squad a couple of wins and we will not look back and I’m sure a good run of fortune is just around the corner.

I must say a special mention to Mr “Gate” John McGuire who is one of the nicest blokes we have met in the NWCFL. John always takes time to have a general chit chat and looks after us with brews and biscuits.

We come into this game on a decent run but know if we are not at our best we will come away empty handed. After a victory here against Vics Evo has already proven that on their day Gate will be tough opponents for anyone..

Our loyal supporters will be cheering us on and fingers crossed we take the 3 points back down the M6.’

WELCOMING OUR OPPONENTS FROM ASHTON Ashton Athletic Football Club was founded in 1968 and playing in the Wigan Sunday League – winning every Division in consecutive seasons and many cup competitions before switching to the Warrington League on Saturdays where similar success was sustained.

The Club developed Brocstedes Park and was admitted to the Lancashire Combination, before becoming a founder member of the North West Counties League when the Combination merged with the Cheshire league in 1982. Unfortunately, financial constraints prevented the required ground improvements to be completed, and the Club was relegated into the Manchester league Division One in 1986.

The drop of two leagues resulted in the majority of the playing staff moving to other club's and for numerous years the club endeavored to re-build.

The Club is now at the end of a ten-year development plan to enhance its recreational facilities and expand the Club, in particular its junior section. Eight years ago, the Club had two teams, 50 members, one mediocre pitch with dilapidated clubhouse and changing rooms.

Since then the Club members have worked tirelessly to progress the Club within its means, and with some help from external grant sources. Assistance from the Football foundation, Awards for All programme, and Wigan Council enabled a series of improvements to be completed. The main pitch was redrained, a second pitch acquired/improved, new changing rooms and Clubhouse built, disabled access provided and other improvements made to the grounds.

More recently the ground has been brought up to the necessary Ground Grading for re-entry into the NWCFL, in time for the start of the 2006/7 season and further inprovements have provided additional seating. The 2008/09 season also saw further progression of the Club, having been promoted to the Premier Division of the Vodkat North West Counties League.

We were again able take to the national stage, having been accepted in the FA Cup competition after last season’s debut in the FA Vase which proved very lucrative for the Club, progressing through 3 stages and beating 2 teams from higher leagues in the process.

The previous season also saw cup success for the Club retaining the Atherton Charity Cup at the end of the season.

Following an impressive 6th place finish in the 2008/09 season, the Yellows struggled in the league for the next 4 seasons, finishing in the bottom three of the league in three of the next four seasons. 21st (09/10), 22nd (10/11), 14th (11/12) and 20th (12/13). The club took the unusual step in bringing in a trio of managers, Jay Foulds, Ben Kay and Dougie Pitts. Jay and Ben were brought in from Wigan Robin Park and Dougie came in following a break from the game. The trio needed to completely rebuild the squad for the 2013/14 season and made an excellent start to their managerial careers creating club history with a 6th place finish and beating Maine Road 1-0 to win the League Challenge Cup at Curzon Ashton. More club history was made in the 2014/15 season with a highest ever 5th place finish in the league, conceding only 38 goals and losing only 7 league games that season and the Yellows were successful in the Wigan Cup, beating Newburgh Harrock United 5-1 in the final at Brocstedes Park. The 2015/16 season saw the retirement of Jay Foulds and he was replaced in the Ashton Athletic goal by Martin Pearson. Unfortunately, there were no cup heroics in that season but there was a solid 7th place finish in the league. The 2016/17 saw another top 10 finish with the club ending the season in 9th place, but the club made history in the cups reaching the 2nd qualifying round for the first time ever, losing 5-0 against Halifax Town and winning the Lancashire Cup for the first time, coming from a goal down to win 2-1 against Radcliffe Borough. With the impact the management trio have made at the club in the 4 seasons that they have been in charge of the first team, the success was noticed from clubs at a higher level and following the 2016/17 season, Ben Kay left his role as joint manager to take up the role as assistant manager to Simon Howarth at Clitheroe FC, where he will link up again former Yellows captain, Ian Rowlands. A new vision for the Club is under discussion to further develop the Club and these will include plans for improvements to the access road, new junior changing rooms, additional playing fields for the junior section and a proposed girls/ ladies section. The main ground is also scheduled for enhancement works with additional covered spectator areas.

JAY FOULDS Jay Foulds is the longest serving manager in the NWCFL Premier Division having taken the reigns in 2014. Joint managers Jay Foulds and Dougie Pitts have guided the Greater Manchester side to a number of decent placings - including last season's joint high of fifth in the NWCFL Premier Division.

Speaking to the NWCFL website back in July this year, he said: “This will be my sixth season in charge. I came in in 2014. I was still playing at the time and came in as player-manager. There were three of us when we took the job; myself and Dougie still do it. Ben left and went to Clitheroe but now he's the groundsman at Chorley. He was the groundsman at the club as well. We were together for three years, then Ben left so myself and Dougie just carried on.”

"I was playing at the time I took over. Dougie had retired – he retired early at thirty – but myself and Ben were playing. I retired about two years ago. I couldn't keep giving stick to the lads when I was playing awful myself so I hung my boots and my gloves up and said, "That's it!" I felt like a bit of a hypocrite at times, saying stuff, so I had to get someone else in and stand aside. " In 2014-15 Foulds and his side accumulated more points than last season but finished fifth (same position), but he believes it is more competitive than ever, " It's definitely become more competitive. I think at the time we took over Ashton, they were always in the relegation spots. They should have been relegated one year but they weren't. I think they had one good season but they were reprieved a couple of times. I think in the first couple of seasons everybody was just turning up and thinking it's only Ashton.

"I look at the team we have now to what we had then and we're by far a better team now but, again, I think the standard's raised. We went there and surprised teams with some of the football we were playing and the lads we had. We turned the club around a bit. I think it was the unknown really. Teams probably disrespected us a little bit and we caught them with their guard down. We did well for those few seasons.”

“To be fair, I don't think there are going to be any easy games. You've just got to take it game by game. We've got to play everybody twice over the course of the season so whether we play them at the start, the middle or the end, it's up to us to not really worry about that. We'll just go out, play our game and hopefully we'll get the results."

DAVE NASH Speaking to The Gate ahead of today’s game is Dave Nash who has been following Ashton Athletic for the past 3 years, with his son and dad, he gives us an insight into our opponent today. Note; these are not views of Ashton Athletic FC. First of all, what encouraged you to get into football, and more importantly Ashton Athletic?

All my family had always been Bolton Wanderers fans from a young age, and my dad got me a season ticket in 1995/96 I think and we had them until about 3 years ago when financial troubles hit Bolton, and on average it was £32 a ticket, £4.20 a pint, £4 a hot dog, so it became very expensive for me and my son to go. We went to watch our local team Ashton, and was made so welcome by Taffy and everyone at the club, and the football was better than I was watching at Bolton, but cost nothing like Bolton. We went to a few more games, and the rest is history.

Maltby Main in the FA Vase was terrible, we lost 5-0 and played awful and it was that bad that the players paid for our coach and tickets in. Top club!

When the fixtures are released, what fixtures do you look for first? Any grounds you like visiting?

Barnoldswick Town is the first one we look for as it is, in my opinion, the best away trip. It’s a nice town as well, with a fair few fish and chip shops and always made very welcome. To be honest, I don’t like going to Litherland REMYCA, as there is no atmosphere and it is miles from the pitch.

Which Ashton players should Gate fans watch out for in today’s game?

We have a few decent players; Dale Korie-Butler scores goals from anything, and can be lethal. Josh Nicholson for his pace, he will cause problems. Adam Howard, for his crosses.

Did you own any football shirts growing up?

What makes non league unique to you?

Yeah, I had a Bolton shirt with Mark Fish on the back, he was a South African centre back.

The fans, and the people make non league for me, plus the prices are very reasonable.

Do you remember your first game watching Ashton?

If you were manager of a 5 a side team and you can have 2 Ashton players, and 3 PL legends. Who do you pick?

First game I think was Ashton Athletic vs Bamber Bridge in the Jay Jay Okocha, Michael Owen, Jaap Stam as my legends.

FA Cup qualifying rounds, we won 2-1 and went on to play Korie-Butler and Cringle from Ashton. under the BBC cameras vs Chorley.

If you were to sign 3 PL players on a free transfer. Who Your most memorable game? would you sign?

Even with the defeat, it has to be the brilliant away trip to York City in the FA Cup, we lost 5-0 but it was a brilliant day out and Virgil Van Dijk, Harry Kane, and Sergio Aguero. for us to take 112 fans was massive!

ASHTON ATHLETIC 2-1 SQUIRES GATE / EASTER SUNDAY 2017 Gate were involved in the leagues first ever ground hop day and played the first of three games on Easter Sunday. Gate travelled to Ashton Athletic for an 11:30 am kick off at a ground that has fond memories for Gate. Danny Penswick secured the clubs Premier Division status on the last day of the previous season.

Dale Korie-Butler Do you remember your first game, playing for Ashton?

What was the first game you attended as a fan?

My first game for Ashton was at home to Runcorn Linnets, I can’t remember the score because my memory is terrible, but I do remember winning and scoring a couple, one of them was a diving header that was perfectly delivered into the box. I only remember that goal because it’s the only diving header I’ve ever scored. I could of caught it on the volley but for some odd reason I just dived towards it and it went in.

My first game as a fan was at Anfield, I went on a tour of the stadium the day before and I had got the Liverpool tracksuit, the Champions League tracksuit with the gold stars on it, my mum gave me 2 tickets and said I can pick someone to go with me, maybe that was smart of her so she didn’t have to take me, so I picked my brother.

Did you own any football shirts growing up? Who was your footballing idol?

Speaking to The Gate from Ashton Athletic, is their leading goalscorer Dale Korie-Butler, he gives us an insight into his time at the club, his career, and which opposition he hates playing against.

I had a Ronaldinho shirt, when he was at Barcelona, he was my idol. I watched him as much as I could, I’ve probably seen every YouTube clip of him, I was obsessed!

First of all, what encouraged you to get into playing football, and more importantly Ashton Athletic? Which team did you grow up supporting?

My brother was a massive influence, he used to show me new skills that he had seen and once he had mastered it, he would teach me. I first got involved with Ashton through my mates Ben Cartwright, and Bram Johnstone, we played for the same team on a Sunday and I asked them to put a word in to the gaffers and they got me down for pre season. I am a Liverpool fan, my whole family support Liverpool, even my cousins! I don’t think there is one Everton fan in the entire family and now that I have a 2 year old son, I hope it stays that way!

Can you give me us a brief insight into your career? How many years have you been at Ashton Athletic?

About 2 seasons ago was my first time playing for Ashton, I was playing up front with Joel Brownhill and Danny Smith (aka Smudge) I managed to get 30 goals that season, myself and Joel were both on 28 goals on the last game of the season so going into the last game was a decider of who got the golden boot for Ashton. Luckily enough, Joel couldn’t finish his dinner that day and I ended the game with 2 goals. After that season, I went on to play for Widnes which wasn’t as enjoyable as I expected, I then went to Bootle where I didn’t play much, the manager had his favourites and I don’t think I was given a fair chance. I now find myself back at the Tics!

What has been your most memorable moment in your career?

I was asked to play for my mates team, for the final of the MACRON Cup for Paige Celtic, at the time I had only played a handful of games for them that season, the manager said to me if I’m needed he will put me on so it’s my choice if I should put a kit on or not, I knew the manager very well so i agreed to go down and help them out, 20 minutes to go and we was drawing. He put me on and said “Listen Dale, I need you to win this for us” I said ok where am I playing and he said “just play anywhere, like a free role" so I went on and put it in the top corner from 35 yards out. We won 3-2 You can pick any player in the world, past or present, to play alongside. Who do you pick, and why?

Its got to be Ronaldinho, imagine the amount of goals you could score if he was the one putting them on a plate for you.

You’re manager of a 5 a side team. You can pick 2 Ashton players, and 3 PL legends, who makes your team?

I’d put Martin in goal, he’s quality in 5 a side goals in training, its hard to score past him, the 2nd Ashton player has to be myself. The 3 legends would be Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, and Henry.

Who is the toughest opposition that you’ve faced? Which teams do you hate playing against?

Toughest is probably Chorley. They were well organised, and more experience which made them hard to break down, I don’t hate playing against any team personally, it’s more the grounds I hate playing at, I hate playing on terrible pitches.

You can bring 3 PL players to Ashton Ath on a free. Who do you sign?

What is the best goal you have ever scored?

Prediction for today’s game?

Virgil Van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Sadio Mane. I think they would be a big help towards promotion.

The best goal I’ve scored was the one I mentioned earlier in A3-1 win, with me on the scoresheet. the final, it was a Coutinho type of goal, first touch out my feet and whipped it far right the keeper didn’t bother diving because he knew he had no chance.

You are one of the leading goalscorers in the NWCFL Prem, do you think you can finish as top goalscorer?

Do you have a personal aim for goals this season?

To finish top, would be great! But there’s so many goals every week in this league it will be difficult, this season especially.

We have some quality strikers in this league who are scoring most weeks, all I can do is score as many as possible and hope for the best! I want to score more than I did my first season for Ashton, so anything over 30 and I will be happy.

Do you have any superstitions or rituals, that you have to do before any game?

I actually don’t have anything I do before a game, I like to act like it’s just another game of football, sometimes you can complicate the game by over thinking, I’m a chilled laidback person so I tend to go into every game relaxed with some confidence.

You are the DJ before the game, what is the first song on your playlist? Who has the worst music taste at Ashton?

At the moment, the music in our changing room is very embarrassing. I don’t know what’s wrong with half of these players, its always Wigan Pier, and they all know every word of it. Paul Watson is the biggest influence for the daft music being played, alongside Charlie Munroe. They both have the worst taste in music. If I was the DJ I’d put something like Kanye West - Touch The Sky, with some old school R&B or absolutely anything apart from Wigan Pier.

What do you normally do before an away game? How do you prepare yourself?

I make sure I’m not out in the ale the night before, that always helps. But I just treat it like a normal day, wake up at 7am with the baby and watch Peppa Pig, I’ll make the breakfast for the family because my girlfriend is the worst cook. Then I’ll go to football and try not to be late.

Most embarrassing moment as a footballer?

I always think about this moment; so I was playing for St Helens Town, we were away playing at Prescot Cables ground, the pitch was awful. I was playing left wing and I cut inside and tried to spray a 40 yard switch to the other side of the pitch, and as I’m about to hit the ball it hits a little bobble sending it in the wrong direction and out of play for a throw in.

It was terrible, it went nowhere near the player I was looking for and I don’t think anyone believed me about the ball hitting a bobble before I hit it.

On Tuesday, we gave you an insight into Spanish non league football, and the types of grounds you could expect to see in the lower divisions of Spain, from a blog we found called “Estadios de Espana” where Mik writes up about non league grounds that he visits.

a best finish of ninth in 1996-97. The club was relegated to the Tercera at the end of the 2002-03 season, and two seasons later the club called it a day at the Campo de Santa Lucia. During the summer of 2005, Gernika Club moved to the municipally owned Urbieta sports complex on the northern fringes of the town, whilst Santa Lucia hosted rugby and for a few years, Metalfest, which is pretty self explanatory. The site was redeveloped into housing in 2010.

On opening, the football stadium consisted of just the one stand on the west side of the ground and an artificial playing surface. This has a raised seating deck that sits above changing facilities and offices. This main body of the stand also contains changing facilities for the town’s senior rugby Gernika will forever be associated with the terrible atrocities of club, who play on an adjacent field to the west. 1500 multicoloured seats sit beneath a perspex cantilevered roof, the one day in April 1937 and Picasso’s striking depiction of the profile of which resembles the wing of an old bi-plane as it unhorror of that Luftwaffe bombing raid. The game started well for both teams, creating chances from the start. The first goal came on 22 minutes, as debutant Feeney got his name on the scoresheet, reacting first to a loose ball in the box and slotted past the keeper.

However, Gate couldn't see it through until half time as Hanley got the ball down the right, and Sanders cut inside, finishing past Gidley at the near post.

JORDAN GIDLEY Gate keeper Jordan Gidley speaks to The Gate about his career so far, his favourite game, and which teams he hates playing; First of all, what encouraged you to get into football?

More importantly, why did you choose to be a keeper?

I used to watch my dad play football with his mates when I was younger and I was hooked from watching them, I wanted to be like my dad as he was a goalkeeper plus I wasn’t the best outfield player.

Which team did you support growing up? Who is your football idol?

My all time idol is Peter Schmeichel, he was unbelievable and I am a Burnley fan born and bred.

Can you give us an insight into your career so far?

I played at youth level, growing up I played for my town, and I made my counties debut with Barnoldswick Town and played there for 2 and a half seasons. I spent time at Bootle, Colne, Padiham, Charnock Richard and then met Luke and went to AFC Darwen with him.

What are your expectations for this season?

First and foremost, is to keep this club up and to finish as high as we can, on a personal note I want a successful season on the pitch and I am looking for a minimum of 8 clean sheets.

Do you have any matchday superstitions or rituals?

I wear the same kit every game, washed obviously, boxers, shorts, the lot and that is it really for me. I have seen people who eat the same food the night before every game.

How do you mentally prepare yourself for a penalty? Is there more pressure on the keeper or taker?

I just take a deep breath and compose myself, and keep an eye on the ball. I think there is more pressure on the penalty taker.

Who has been the toughest opposition you have played against, and which player do you hate going one on one against?

Playing against Harrogate Town twice, they were one of the best teams I have played against, they were unbelievable. As for a one on one, Jay Hart, it was always a battle as he is a class finisher.

Your most memorable moment?

My most memorable moment is walking out in the MACRON cup final with my little sister as my mascot in front of 1000 fans. Playing against Bootle, and the build up to the final, I had a great game and we scored late on to win 1-0.

Most embarrassing thing to happen to you on the pitch?

I have had a few bad memories, but one thing comes to mind is I had a pass back bobble over my foot as I went to kick it, and it went in.

You are manager of a 5 a side team. 2 Gate players, and 3 PL legends. Who makes your team?

Sam Turner, Ryan Riley, Ronaldo, De Gea and Terry You are the DJ before the game, what is the first song on your playlist, and who has the worst music taste?

Post Malone - Sunflower. I have the worst music taste, without a doubt.

What is the best prank you have seen in the dressing room, any that you have pulled?

I have seen lads put full fish in peoples bags and not find them in there for a full week, I’ve seen people cut peoples clothes up for a laugh. All sorts go on in a changing room.

Prediction for today’s game?

I’m going for 2-0 Gate.

This was a fourth straight victory for Gate, as they found themselves 8th in the league, and on a 5 match unbeaten run. The home side led after just 2 minutes, when Egidi pounced on an Ashton mistake, and slotted past the keeper from 6 yards. Seear doubled the lead 5 minutes later, after he curled a shot through a crowd of players into the bottom corner.

Chanrley added a third for Gate, before Ashton Athletic started to wake up, Gilchrist finally got the visitors off the mark just as half time was approaching. However, as the game restarted, Summer was the next on the scoresheet as he scored straight from the corner. An own goal from the visitors summed up their afternoon as Gate added a fifth. A late goal for both sides rounded off a great win for Squires Gate.

Our groundhopper this week, is Gareth Evans, who runs his own blog about his groundhopping adventures, which you can visit here - garethsfootballtravels.wordpress.com, he talks to us about his favourite grounds, the time he played football in Gambia and why he loves non league football.

Do you remember the first ground you visited?

First of all, what encouraged you to get into football, and more importantly your groundhopping adventures?

For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed all things with regards to football. One of my earliest memories of watching the beautiful game came from the 1986 Mexico World Cup and the famous Diego Maradona 'hand of god' incident against England. I was only 5 years old at the time but can vividly remember seeing that incident on TV. I started groundhopping as a 'fulltime' hobby back in the summer of 2016. I have always had an interest in football grounds and especially nonleague grounds so I decided to take up the hobby and have never looked back, in fact I wish I had started groundhopping years and years ago.

What is the best, and worst game you have seen? Live, and in general?

Did you own any football shirts growing up? Who was your idol?

I remember having quite a lot of football shirts whilst growing up - Manchester United and Croatia shirts to name but a few.

As I played as a goalkeeper from the age of 10 and into my mid 20's I always looked up to goalkeepers who were playing at the top of their game. I remember admiring goalkeepers such as Neville Southall and Steve Ogrizivic.

Yes I can - My Uncle took me to watch Shrewsbury Town v Stoke City at the Shrewsbury's old ground The Gay Meadow.

Date of the match was 18th April 1987, final was score 4-1, attendance was 6,777.

This is a great question - the best game that I have seen live was actually a pre-season fixture on the 1st August 2017 between Berriew v Bishops Castle. I was amongst a crowd of 31 spectators and we were treated to a 7 goal thriller which finished 4-3 to the home team. I remember that I wrote some statistics down for the game and counted that there was a total of 52 attempts on goal that day.

I don't have a worst game as I honestly get something from every game I watch but obviously some are better than others.

The game that always sticks out in my memory was the 1999 European Cup Final between Manchester United v Bayern Munich, I watched the game on TV - what an amazing ending to the game!

Which was your team growing up? What made you choose them?

To be totally honest I chopped and changed with the teams I supported as a child. I remember having a fondness for Coventry City after their 1987 FA Cup Final victory over Tottenham Hotspur and then as I got a little older - Manchester United.

Which non league club do you live closest to?

This is a close call but I have worked out that the closest nonleague club to where i live (11.3 miles away) is Church Stretton Town Football Club (0.5 miles closer than the next nearest - AFC Bridgnorth) Church Stretton play at Russells Meadow which is basically a pitch with white barriers with a nice little snack bar and changing room facilities. What makes this ground great though is that it is right in the middle of the Shropshire Hills with brilliant scenery in every direction. The club currently plays in the West Midlands Regional League Division 2 - step 8 of the non league pyramid.

How many grounds have you visited now?

What makes non league unique to you?

I watch the majority of my games on my travels at step 5 and below in England of the non league game and at all various level in Wales. One thing that most if not all of the clubs have in common is how very friendly and welcoming they are. I like the fact that these clubs are run by volunteers and they do it for the love of the game.

What has been the best goal you have ever seen?

The best goal that I have seen live was at the Bucks Head in the late 1990's. The game was between Telford United v Hednesford Town and Telford opened the scoring with a player on loan (forget the players name) from West Bromwich Albion courtesy of a volley which must been at least 45 yards out.

The best goal in general that I have seen would probably have to be George Weah's amazing solo goal for AC Milan against Verona in 1996 when he ran the entire length of the pitch beating man after to man before putting the ball into the net.

Your favourite grounds?

If we go with my top 3 for this question I would probably say that in third place, would be the Mark Webster Community Stadium home of Atherstone Town. In 2nd place - Victoria Park home of Llanidloes Town and my current favourite stadium from the one's I have visited would be the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium home of Banbury United and Banbury United Development.

What is your usual matchday routine when visiting a new ground?

On a Saturday I always like to be in the town or village of the ground/club I am attending for a good look around beofre I actually make my way to the ground. I feel that exploring a place that i have never visited before is all part of the groundhopping experience. For example when I visited Halkyn Road (last saturday and ground tick 102) for Holywell Town v Mold Alexandra I visited a few points of interests in Holywell, one of which was one of the seven wonders of Wales - St Winfrides Well. My routine at the ground is to try and obtain a programme or pin badge before I take a self-guided tour of the ground to take photographs for my blog.

You mention on Twitter that you have played football in Gambia, how did that come about?

This all came about during my early 20's when I was involved in helping a charity based in Cheshire called, Schools for Gambia and West Africa. I visited the country twice, before my first visit I arranged for a football kit to be shipped over to a village called, Medinna Manneh where the charity was building a school at the time. Whilst I was over their we visited the village and the people of the village invited me to play in a game, the teams were made up from players from the village.

Some of the players were technically very good and it was a huge honour to play in the game.

Have you ever seen any obscure grounds, what makes them different to others?

Yes I certainly have - Three spring to mind immediately. The first one is Enville Hall which is the home to Enville Athletic who ply in the Midlands League Division 3. There is nothing remarkable about the actual football ground is it basically roped off. But was obscure/unique is that it is and as the name suggests within the grounds of Enville Hall with the back drop to the pitch being Enville Hall itself. It's almost like watching a game in the grounds of Downton Abbey! The second ground would be Dolforgan Park home to Kerry FC who play in the Mid Wales League Division 1.

Two things I saw during my one and only visit makes this ground obscure and unique. The first thing is that the covered stand was literraly the back of a lorry and secondly in the corner of the ground is an old Cast Iron Georgian Bridge, one of the very first of it's kind to be built in the UK. The Third ground is the Bournville Recreation Ground home of Cadbury Athletic FC who the Midlands League Division 4. This ground is right next door to the Cadbury's factory and Cadbury's World in Bournville near Birmingham. The ground is beautiful with superb terracing and one of the best buildings used for the changing rooms and a snack bar that i have ever seen.

Have you been to Squires Gate before?

I have not visited Squires Gate yet but since you have been kind enough to ask me these questions for your programme I think that it is only right that I try and visit in the very near future.

What are your plans for the upcoming months?

No real plan to be honest as I tend to take a look at the fixtures available week by week and choose a game and ground to visit from their. In saying that I would like to visit Llandudno Do you have any superstitions or rituals when it comes to Junction FC at some point this season. I travelled past the supporting your team? ground once a few years ago and I really like the look of it.

I can't really say that I support team to be honest, however I do Other than that I know that I will continue enjoying this brilliant like to see clubs in my home county of Shropshire doing well. hobby regardless of where I end up.

Have you ever watched a game abroad?

I have yet to watch a game abroad but I have visited or at least Squires Gate would like to thank Gareth for his in depth and been outside a few grounds overseas.
