They say all good things must come to an end...and so do not quite such good things. The final issue of Square had a revolution theme. The print copy came with a CD of spoken word poetry. It was a bit sad to end it, and although I always enjoyed putting it together - I loved getting submissions through the post, and we even had a few from overseas towards the end - but selling the magazine was always difficult - poets are notoriously reluctant to part with cash! Nonetheless, I think for the brief time that Square was going - around three years - it was a valid part of the Cardiff poetry and writers' scene.
