OCTOBER 10, 2025
October is such a full and faith-filled month at St. Pius X.
We were blessed to have over 80 students participate in the Living Rosary on Tuesday Parts of The Rosary were prayed by our students in English, Vietnamese, Italian, Tagalog and Gaelic. October, the Month of the Holy Rosary, coincides with the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, celebrated on October 7, when we remember the Battle of Lepanto in 1571 while Pope Pius V was in the Vatican.
Today, October 10, the first quarter of the academic year ends. Report cards will be sent October 16 followed by Parent-Teacher Conferences on Friday, October 24. Academic Awards will be held in the gym at 2:30 on Monday, October 27.
We are excited to kick-off the Fall Festival tomorrow, October 10, from 3:00-6:00 pm, followed by Trunk or Treat at 6:30. Please bring your family and join in the fun! The Eerie Enclave and Dunk Tank are sure to be favorites, along with all the food, games and fellowship that make this event so special.
Looking ahead, our SPX Fun Day is in the works, and it is scheduled for the afternoon of Wednesday, October 29. Congratulations to 2nd, 3rd and 5th graders who earned the show, popcorn and pajama day for a date to be announced soon.
