Pete Chilian is a Managing Director with J.P. Morgan Private Bank. As the Head of the Dallas region, he directs a team of 100+ bankers and specialists to present a full range of wealth management services to affluent families and foundations in the greater Dallas area, East Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. In this senior role, he delivers investment, banking, lending, and planning resources to help clients fulfill their purpose and leave a legacy for the next generation.
Pete is a member of the Dallas Market Leadership Team, providing executive guidance to integrate J.P. Morgan’s lines of business. He has deep roots in the area, which enable him to play an active and visible role in expanding J.P. Morgan’s presence in the community. He has twice served as Co-Chair of the Good Works Employee Giving Campaign for the Greater Dallas Market.
Pete and his wife, Brandi, have two sons, Cook and Wyatt.
MARK COPELAND

Mark is a trustee of St. Philip’s and serves as the Strategy and Transactions (SaT) Managing Partner for the US-West Region for EY (Ernst & Young). The US-West Region SaT team consists of more than 1,400 professionals covering 18 states and 28 offices. He received his bachelor and master degrees from East Carolina University. Mark is passionate about educational initiatives and currently serves on the board of one of the country’s top HBCU’s – North Carolina A&T State University.
REBECCA AND ROB LANDIN
Honorary Chairs
Rob and Rebecca are actively engaged in multiple local DFW non-profit organizations and are passionate about health & wellness, education, mental health, domestic violence, women’s issues, human rights, animal welfare and youth sports. Their involvement includes leadership roles on various boards and charitable giving through their family foundation. Rebecca is a member of the Women’s Philanthropy Institute with The Dallas Foundation. Rob serves as Trustee on St. Philip’s Foundation Board and Bridge Lacrosse, providing underprivileged youth access to lacrosse training and higher education preparation and is an advocate, along with his dog Boomer, for Pet Partners.

Mona and David Munson Humanitarian Award Recipient
Bobby Lyle is Founder and Chairman of Lyco Holdings Incorporated, a Dallas based private investment firm. A Southern Methodist University alumnus, he served as dean ad interim at age 30 and subsequently as executive dean of the SMU Cox School of Business, before taking a leave of absence to complete his Doctor of Education degree, with an emphasis on strategic planning and leadership, at UMass-Amherst. After completing his doctorate, he returned to Dallas to enter the oil and gas industry. What followed was a multifaceted career during which he served in leadership roles in the development of notable oil and gas fields; real estate projects; and business startups.
His civic activities have included leadership roles for the Boy Scouts of America, Salvation Army, Texas Trees Foundation and St. Philip’s School and Community Center.

Few individuals ever become iconic enough to be known by one name—Shaq. A revered cultural icon, Shaquille O’Neal is best known for an NBA career spanning nearly two decades and earning him the sport’s highest honors, including membership in the NBA Hall of Fame. The four-time NBA Champion, 15-time NBA All Star and threetime NBA Finals MVP has been named one of the most influential athletes by Forbes magazine, in addition to being the highest ranked NBA athlete on Nielsen’s State of the Media: Year in Sports 2010 and Business Week’s Power Sports 100.
But Shaquille O’Neal isn’t only a legendary athlete; he has also established himself as a powerful media personality and businessman over the years. Ranked among ‘‘The 100 Most Creative People in Business’’ last year by Fast Company magazine, O’Neal is currently an NBA analyst on TNT’s Emmy-award winning show, Inside the NBA on TNT.

Roland Parrish is the President, CEO, and owner of Parrish Restaurants Ltd., which owns 29 McDonald’s franchises in North Texas. His company has been among Black Enterprise magazines’ BE 100 as one of the Top 100 Black Owned Businesses in the United States for 12 consecutive years. Mr. Parrish’s philanthropy is equally notable, including sharing his treasure and leadership with many groups and organizations across the country. We are grateful and proud to have Mr. Parrish serve as one of the cochairs of St. Philip’s We Believe Campaign cabinet and for establishing, along with his wife, Jewel, The Parrish Family Destiny Award Speaker, in perpetuity.
About Destiny
The Destiny Award Luncheon is an annual luncheon benefiting St. Philip’s School and Community Center. The Humanitarian Award is given to a leader(s) who has demonstrated exceptional work in bridging diverse communities. Their work exemplifies the importance of embracing the belief in the oneness of human kind in which the destiny of the world is linked.
St. Philip’s School and Community Center is a beacon of light, hope, and transformation in South Dallas. St. Philip’s provides an exceptional education to children from PreK2 to 6th Grade [ages 2 to 12]. St. Philip’s success is evident: 100% of St. Philips alumni graduate from high school and 95% attend college, while the graduation rate for the neighborhood high school is only 48%, with 4% going on to college.
Each year, the Community Center serves more than 3000 of our neighbors - including children, youth, entire families and seniors. Through the Community Center, St. Philip’s provides SENIOR SERVICES including transportation to local pharmacies; addresses HUNGER through partnerships with Meals on Wheels and the North Texas Food Bank; deepens STUDENT ENGAGEMENT through key enrichment programs such as mentoring and summer learning programs; and continues with its founding ATHLETIC programs serving over 700 children!
