2023 MSHSAA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

In 2023, Springfield will host the MSHSAA State Basketball Championships for the 6th and final year of the bid term. The Sports Commission is proud to have brought the event to Springfield and appreciates the contributions of its community partners, Missouri State University and the local hotel industry.

Despite facing challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the tournament has consistently drawn large crowds to Springfield. Great Southern Bank and Hammons Student Center provided excellent venues for the event. In 2023, the tournament is expected to be even bigger.

Return to Normal Attendance Procedures
In 2024, the event will return to Columbia, Missouri. The Springfield Sports Commission wishes the Columbia Sports Commission much success in hosting the tour-
