LINK TO NOMINATE AVAILABLE ONLINE
Small businesses are an essential part of our community. Over 80% of our Chamber membership consists of small businesses with less than 25 FTE employees. Supporting the work of small business owners helps our local economy and community.

That’s why The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce offers its Small Business Awards, which recognizes area small business owners for their outstanding achievements in four different categories - NotFor-Profit Business Director of the Year, New & Emerging Business Owner of the Year, Small Business Owner of the Year, and Lifetime Award Business Owner of the Year.
Nominating a business is easy – just click on a link and provide the name of the business and its owner or owners. A link will be available mid April on the Chamber’s home page (www.gscc.org) and on the event page. The deadline for nominations is May 31. Criteria for each award can be found in the box to the right.
Nominees will be recognized, and winners announced, at the Small Business Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, August 24, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Springfield Convention Center. Hickory Point Bank is serving as the Presenting Sponsor.
To register, go to www.gscc.org. For more information about additional sponsorship opportunities, contact Lisa Schafer at lschafer@gscc.org or 217.525.1173 ext. 203.
