Fourth Avenue

Fourth Avenue, a professional a cappella quartet based in Dayton, OH, entertains and engages audiences with concerts that feature a variety of familiar pop, rock, soul, R&B, gospel, and doo-wop favorites from different eras, as well as catchy original music performed with their unique high-energy approach.

Fourth Avenue is currently celebrating thirty years of making music! Since their start in 1993, they have shared the stage with such national acts as the Beach Boys, The Temptations, Styx, and Three Dog Night. The group celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary of entertaining audiences in 2018, and in 2019, they were honored to perform for the West Virginia Governor’s School for the Arts. Most amazing is Fourth Avenue’s ability, as “the band without instrument,” to perform pop favorites and original tunes using nothing but their own voices!

Ten albums over twelve years, each packed with classic songs such as Rainy Days and Mondays, (They Long to Be) Close to You, Yesterday Once More, We’ve Only Just Begun, It’s Going to Take Some Time, I Won’t Last a Day Without You, and so many more. These are the songs of a generation, each showing off Richard’s remarkable arranging and songwriting talents and Karen’s hauntingly beautiful vocals.

Superstar: The Songs. The Stories. The Carpenters is presented with the blessings of Richard Carpenter, and is a nostalgic treat for fans who adore the number one musical act of the 1970s and the rich vocals that capture the true quality and essence of The Carpenters.

An original, fresh perspective of The Carpenters, Superstar features the incredible vocals of West End and Broadway performer Helen Welch, critically acclaimed vocalist and entertainer, who has performed with The BBC Big Band, Glenn Miller Europe, Opus One, and others at some of the UK’s most prestigious venues, and has held starring roles in a variety of popular musicals ranging from Hello Dolly, Barnum, Carousel, Music Man, 42nd Street and Oliver. Helen’s success relocated her to the U.S. where she has headlines with world-class musical organizations.
