Donations Critical To The Ojai’s Continued Success
The Ojai Tennis Tournament is a wonderful and unique tradition dating back to the first event in 1896. It is put on each year by the Ojai Valley Tennis Club, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax-exempt organization, whose charitable mission is the promotion of interest in tennis and physical fitness by providing recreational facilities for young people and the combating of juvenile delinquency.
But The Ojai doesn’t just happen. It requires the dedicated efforts of literally hundreds of officials and volunteers, not only at tournament time but throughout the year. It also requires money.

Alas, each year, tournament expenses have been increasing, especially as the Tennis Club continues its efforts to expand and modernize The Ojai Tournament and generally improve The Ojai experience for players and spectators alike.

In order to help offset the raising expenses the Ojai Valley Tennis Club has created a Patrons Organization.
The Patrons are individuals dedicated to financially help sustain the excellence of the Ojai Tennis Tournament and tennis overall in the Ojai Valley. Proceeds from the Patrons are being used to make enhancements to the venerable Libbey Park and other capital improvements to various tennis facilities in Ojai.
These facilities not only are essential to the conducting of The Ojai Tournament, but are used during the year by thousands of young people throughout the Ojai Valley and surrounding areas.
It is very important for the OVTC to continually have our Patron support to sustain the wonderful commitments to the tournament and youth tennis. There are two ways to contribute to the Ojai Valley Tennis Club.
One is through the Patron organization, and for more information contact OVTC President Duane Williamson at duanewill31@yahoo.com.
The second way is to make a one-time contribution by sending a check made out to Ojai Valley Tennis Club to the address below:
OVTC, PO Box 482, Ojai, CA 93024
Thank you for your continued commitment to the Ojai Tennis Tournament!
