November 8, 2020 Dear Prep Family, Although Prep’s 150th anniversary is still over a year away, I have had many meetings and conversations with colleagues as we prepare for this once-in-a-lifetime celebration. In conversing about the traditions, old and new, that make up the fabric of Prep life, one that always comes to mind is the Fashion Show.

With this in mind, I am pleased to welcome you to our 2020 Fashion Show, Behind the Mask!

As you know, mask-wearing is our “new normal.” But what is not so new is what’s behind those masks—a diversity of faces representing the Prep families who support 144 and celebrate all that we are and all that we are able to accomplish together.

Please know how grateful I am to all the Prep moms for your dedication to this event, year after year. I would especially like to thank our Fashion Show co-chairs—Kathy Cugliari, P’20,’22, Kathleen Musico, P’21, Denise O’Brien, P’21, and Beth Toolen, P’21. Along with our Director of Special Events, Dalma Santana, they have led the effort to make this day possible. I would be remiss if I did not take this moment to give a shout-out to my mom, Irene Gomez, P’84,’87,’91.

She always loved the Fashion Show when my brothers and I were students at Prep, so on her behalf, I say thank you for continuing this Prep tradition!
