Welcome home A tradition of hospitality The Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern opened its doors in 1845 and has been owned by the Hauser family since 1861.

Patrick and Michael Hauser are the fifth generation to run the hotel. They inherited the tradition of hospitality and, together with Hotel Director Clemens Hunziker and team, they endeavour to put it into practice in the highest sense of the world. The hotel itself is a historical building with historical décor, an ultramodern infrastructure and, naturally, the high aspiration of “Empathy & Excellence”.

Restaurant Galerie The cuisine served in the Galerie Restaurant brings à la carte delicacies from regional producers home to you.

Served in a stylish ambience, we tempt your taste buds with seasonal, market-fresh creations at any time of the day. No matter if you would like an exquisite breakfast, a light, delicious business lunch, savoury snacks or a spectacular menu composed for a festive celebration, perfection is first and foremost for us. And by the way, the best chateaubriand in town is served at the Galerie Restaurant.

Restaurant Pavillon and Terrace Fine dining is the perfect complement to a memorable stay. The Pavillon Restaurant offers first-class seasonal cuisine Ă la carte. We treat you to culinary festivals from exotic parts of the world and also serve you some of our local Swiss specialties. You can also enjoy selected delicacies in the shade of palm trees and olive trees on our sun terrace, weather permitting.

Schweizerhof Bar The trendsetters of Luzern meet at the sophisticated Schweizerhof Bar. The elegant lounge-style design, the mood lighting and modern furnishings set new standards. In addition, regular events and live piano music daily enhance the atmosphere, as do to the numerous passers-by. As the official bar of various festivals, we will treat you to special cocktail creations, classic finger foods and many personalized surprises. In summer, we would be delighted to serve you on the sun terrace.

Our team offers complete service for private or business events. We can organize all types of events and also advise you on the invitations, scheduling, menu planning and entertainment, as well as provide the necessary infrastructure. Zeugheer Hall On 1 June 1865, when the ballroom designed by Leonhard Zeugheer (1812 -1866) first opened its doors, Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III, praised it saying that there was no prettier ballroom in all of France. Not much has changed since then, and today more than ever the hall exudes the splendour of the new renaissance style. But warn your speakers: the beauty of the Zeugheer Hall can leave one speechless!

Winter Garden The wonderful extension of the Zeugheer Hall is well suited to accommodate groups, speakers or serve as a backstage area. Combined with the Zeugheer Hall, it offers the perfect conditions for banquets of over 300.

Bringolf Hall This wonderful hall, completed in 1887, was designed by the court architect Arnold Bringolf-Hauser (1851-1946) and is suited for a variety of events. Situated adjacent to the Zeugheer Hall, Winter Garden, the Gold Room and both restaurants, it can also accommodate large banquets of up to 800 guests.
