The end of the 2024 season was a bittersweet moment for the Leopards. After a significant victory against Wooster, the team believed they were playoff-bound.

However, as they traveled home along Route 30, they discovered that results from other games had not favored them, leaving Louisville just shy of a postseason berth. This disappointment, combined with a motivated group of seniors, set the tone for the offseason, which focused on improving physical strength, mental resilience, and team unity.

Key Players to Watch Gabe Stoffer will take the helm as quarterback this year. Having started as safety since his sophomore year and gaining experience as a quarterback at the end of last season, Gabe is poised to be an exceptional leader on the field.

Recap of Week 11

The Louisville Leopards experienced a heart-wrenching defeat at the hands of the Westerville South Wildcats, losing 14–10 in the final moments of their Division II, Region 7 first-round playoff game. Despite a late-game touchdown by Leopards’ quarterback Cody Zahler to Owen DiMarzio, which briefly put Louisville in the lead, the Wildcats responded with a game-winning touchdown caught by Hassan Kaba with just 3.7 seconds left. The game featured strong defensive, including interceptions by Louisville’s Gabe Stoffer and Caden Kortis, and special teams contributions with Xavier Berdella recovering two muffed punts. However, Westerville South's rushing attack, led by Evan Andrews' 144 yards, ultimately decided the outcome, ending Louisville's season with a 6-5 record. Westerville South moves on to face the Canal Winchester Indians in the next round.
