EDITORIAL Dear lovers of British classic cars, ladies and gentlemen Following the glamorous Billionaire Edition of 2025, the 32nd British Classic Car Meeting St. Moritz will embrace an equally timeless and elegant theme: Tennis. Few sports capture the spirit of tradition, society and style quite like the game of tennis — and nowhere is this more evident than in the aura of Wimbledon. Its immaculate lawns, all-white attire and effortless sophistication resonate perfectly with the world of classic cars and grand hotels. Together, they celebrate not only competition, but also ritual, lifestyle and a certain art of living.

This year, we are delighted to return to Suvretta House, which has now completed the expansion of its spa. Suvretta House will once again provide the stage for our Gala Dinner on Saturday evening and the Concours d’Elégance in its magnificent garden — a setting that, with its own tennis courts, will bring a subtle touch of Wimbledon flair to the Engadin. On Friday, tradition continues with the elegant evening at Badrutt’s Palace Hotel.

The streets of St. Moritz will come alive during registration on Friday and the rally arrival on Saturday. For the first time, both moments will be extended into several hours at Mauritiusplatz, turning the heart of the village into a showcase for participants, guests and the public alike — and giving the BCCM spirit a longer, more vibrant presence in the village.

The anticipation for this 32nd BCCM is palpable, and we look forward to sharing unforgettable moments and the timeless elegance of British classics with all of you.

ASTON MARTIN THE RETURN OF S Aston Martin celebrated the return of S in 2025, a line up at the peak of sports car performance. Now the latest in a longline of ‘S’ high performance Aston Martins, dating back to the 1953 DB3S.

Launched initially with a new flagship for the supercar of SUVs, DBX S which was closely followed by Vantage S and DB12 S. All three, lighter with more power and more assertive design. The power of DBX S raised a further 20PS to 727PS, Vantage S to a class-defining 680PS and DB12 S to a potent 700PS with a 0-60MPH dropping to just 3.4 seconds.

Marked with an unmistakable new design; the three models have the looks to match the performance prowess. Notably on the interior, the red anodised drive mode rotary control and the unique S leather and Alcantara® combinations.

Moving to the exterior, rear spoilers on the DB12 S and Vantage S are a nod to the sharpened performance of both marques and make them instantly recognisable from the rear, as they are from the front.

And the final perfect embellishment, the ‘S’ signature badging on the front fenders, continuing a long tradition of marking a highperformance version of an existing model; hand-made, a true form of automotive jewellery.

Great Britain and Switzerland share a deep appreciation for craft and competition, whether in motorsport, watchmaking or tennis. Wimbledon has always celebrated not just athletic brilliance, but the ritual, grace and heritage surrounding it. The immaculate lawns, the unmistakable white attire, the sense of history that accompanies every serve; all mirror the pride and care that classic car owners bring to maintaining and showcasing the finest of British automotive design.

This year’s tennis theme is therefore a fitting backdrop for the BCCM St. Moritz.

Through rallies, drives and the Concours d’Élégance, the meeting offers a perfect stage to highlight the enduring ties between British innovation and Swiss passion for precision, as well as the communities that unite both countries.

As we continue to celebrate British motoring excellence in Switzerland, we honour not just the machines, but the shared values and traditions that bring us together – whether on the open road or on the grass courts of SW19.

32nd British Classic Car Meeting St. Moritz 2026 THURSDAY 9 JULY 2026 Warm-up, Tennis Apéro and One-Point Slam 18.00 to 20.00 h: For all participants and partners arriving already on Thursday, we will open BCCM 2026 with a Tennis Apéro at the clubhouse of the St. Moritz Tennis Club. Those who wish can pick up a racket right away and play on our reserved courts. Special guest and sparring partner this evening is Mohammad Al Ghareeb, former tennis professional from Kuwait, who during his career competed against top players such as Roger Federer, Tomáš Berdych or Nikolay Davydenko.

Your classic car can be parked in reserved parking spaces around the tennis courts.

We will serve apéro and snacks — no dinner. After 20.00 h, the evening is at your leisure (dinner on your own initiative).

From 18.30 h: One-Point Slam (fun tournament) — inspired by the format of the Australian Open: each “match” consists of exactly one single point (sudden death).

Whoever wins the point advances to the next round; whoever loses is eliminated.

Participation by prior registration. The award ceremony will take place at the end of the evening at around 20.00 h. An attractive special prize awaits the winner.

FRIDAY 10 JULY 2026 Registration, Drivers’ Briefing, Cocktail, Opening Dinner 13.00 to 17.00 h: Participant registration in the pedestrian zone of St. Moritz Dorf. Spectators can experience all participating cars up close. DJ set and relaxed atmosphere on Mauritius Square – Café Hanselmann offers refreshing drinks.

THE RALLY

Key Information "Tennis Edition Rally" The rally of BCCM 2026 crosses the border into Italy twice – first through the Val Bregaglia to Gordona near Chiavenna, then via the Val Poschiavo down to Tirano. Two countries, remarkable altitude changes, and plenty of Italianità!

From 8.30 h: Rally start at half-minute intervals from the car park located above the Suvretta House (pre-start) and from the Badrutt's Palace Hotel in the centre of St. Moritz (start). For spectators: coffee and croissants available from the Badrutt’s Palace Hotel crew.

THE DRIVE TO THE COURT THE ART OF ARRIVAL

In the golden decades of motoring and manners, the journey to the court was already the opening act. The car wasn’t transport – it was punctuation, attitude, and rhythm. The crunch of gravel under tyres, the faint scent of leather, a glint of chrome in the morning sun — the match began long before the first serve. One didn’t simply arrive; one appeared.

A roadster meant youth and optimism, tennis whites fluttering in the breeze. A Bentley convertible suggested an unhurried lunch at the club before a doubles match, champagne still fizzing in the glass. A Range Rover evoked weekends in the country, with rackets and Labradors sharing the boot. And the Aston Martin was the gentleman’s choice – discreet power under polished calm, the automotive equivalent of a perfect serve that never touches the net.

In St. Moritz, the ritual finds its own expression. The courts might be replaced by alpine lawns and the matches by a rally, but the spirit remains the same: elegance in motion, precision as performance, and arrival as an art form.

At the BCCM 2026, we celebrate exactly that — not tennis itself, but the feeling of stepping onto the court. The weekend becomes a choreography of style and composure, white against green, chrome against sunlight. Whether in a Jaguar XK120, a Bentley Continental Drophead or a white E-Type poised before the Suvretta lawns — every arrival is already part of the game.

SLIM AARONS’ TENNIS MOMENTS “ATTRACTIVE PEOPLE DOING ATTRACTIVE THINGS IN ATTRACTIVE PLACES.”

That was how Slim Aarons described his own photography — and nowhere does the formula unfold more effortlessly than on the tennis courts of the 1960s and 70s. For Aarons, tennis was never just a sport. It was a stage — an elegant setting where society, style, and leisure converged beneath the sun.

In this photograph from the Bahamas, the game fades quietly into the background. What captures the eye are the gestures between players, the conversations, the nonchalance of people who have nowhere else to be. Crisp whites, golden light, and the soft geometry of rackets and hats turn the scene into a composition of grace and ease.

Aarons’ genius lay in transforming leisure into narrative. He framed elegance not as display, but as atmosphere — a way of existing in perfect proportion to one’s surroundings.

In his world, the scoreboard was irrelevant; what mattered was the effortless choreography of social life.

It isn’t competition that defines the moment, but presence: a study in posture, sunlight, and belonging. Aarons shows us that tennis, at its most beautiful, is not about victory — it’s about the rhythm of life lived elegantly between serves.

ICONIC TENNIS OUTFITS Tennis has never been just a sport; it’s always been a stage for style. From crisp whites to geometric graphics and neon rebellions, on-court kits mirrored their eras and shaped how we see the game. These seven looks explain why tennis fashion still resonates long after the final point.

1970s Ilie Năstase – adidas Big collars, contrast piping, playful details — anchored by the signature adidas “Nastase” shoe. Năstase brought free-spirited flamboyance to the court: unpredictable, expressive, and years ahead of the curve.

Björn Borg – FILA “Settanta” Trim, pinstriped polo with contrast collar, trademark headband, and ultra-short shorts: Borg transformed cool into a uniform. The fine stripes became part of his signature look, fusing Italian design with Scandinavian poise — athletic elegance, distilled.

Chris Evert – Ted Tinling In the 1970s, Chris Evert was celebrated not only for her game but also for her elegance on court. She often wore bespoke tennis dresses by the legendary designer Ted Tinling, who reimagined the all-white dress code with colorful trims and refined details. This iconic dress with red accents was worn by Evert at the 1974 Wimbledon Championships – a look that fused sporting precision with a fashion statement.

1980s Boris Becker – Ellesse Pin-stripe polo, classic whites – and, at times, a sleeveless tennis sweater layered on top.

The look nods to the old British “cricket sweater” tradition at Wimbledon while showcasing the bold Ellesse era Becker made famous.

Ivan Lendl – adidas “Geometric” Graphic, geometric polos in blues, reds and yellows. Lendl’s kits mirrored his method: angular, controlled, unmistakable — adidas turned pattern into a calling card.

Gabriela Sabatini – Sergio Tacchini Feminine silhouettes, soft tones, Italian lines. Sabatini fused athleticism with elegance — a court look that breathes refined style.

1990s Andre Agassi – Nike “Challenge Court” Denim shorts, neon spandex, bandana: streetwear on Centre Court. Agassi smashed dress codes and turned tennis into pop culture.

MINI ADVANTAGE – THE MISSED WIMBLEDON

In the summer of 1987 Mini served up a car dressed for tennis season. Conceived as the Mini Wimbledon but launched as the Mini Advantage, it carried the white-andgreen codes of the game onto the road. A small car with the aura of a courtside pass.

First shown in France for the French Open and introduced in Britain during Wimbledon season, the Advantage wore Diamond White paint, grey trim and tennis-net graphics down its flanks. Inside, grey-green upholstery extended the theme, as if the cabin itself were lined like a court. Power came from the familiar 998 cc A-series (around 41 hp): nothing radical, but perfectly pitched for an urban summer.

Production ran to just under 4,700 cars, including about 2,500 right-handdrive examples for the UK. Standard kit included tinted glass, opening rear windows and a cassette radio — but the real appeal was identity. The Advantage felt less like basic transport and more like a fashion piece you’d park outside the club, rackets in the boot.

Decades on, it still tells the story of a missed “Wimbledon” and a style play that landed anyway.

It is widely reported that the car was initially planned as the Mini Wimbledon and that the name was not cleared for use — presumably declined by the All England Club — so the model reached showrooms in the UK as the Advantage.

For export markets, however, it was rebadged as the Mini Masters, identical in specification but avoiding any licensing issues. Whatever the legalities, the intent remained unmistakable: a Mini styled with tennis in mind, timed to the sport’s high season.

FROM LACOSTE TO ROLAND GARROS

Peugeot didn’t just sponsor tennis — it styled it. In the mid-to-late 1980s, the 205 Lacoste and, soon after, the 205 Roland Garros turned everyday hatchbacks into courtside statements. Less about lap times, more about lifestyle.

The Lacoste Edition Introduced in the mid-1980s (circa 1984–85, primarily for the French market), the 205 Lacoste channelled tennis chic into a limited series: crisp white paintwork with green accents, white wheels and discreet crocodile badging. Exact specs varied by market and year, but the intent was clear — youthful, summery, and fashion-forward. Think polo-shirt minimalism translated into a city car: clean lines, easy elegance, and a wink to the courts without shouting about performance.

The Roland Garros Edition By 1989, Peugeot formalised its Grand-Slam tie-in with the 205 Roland Garros special editions. Hallmarks included deep green bodywork, light interiors (often white or very light tones), discreet tournament badging, and, on many cars, a Cabriolet configuration that became especially emblematic. Over the early 1990s the Roland Garros theme returned on subsequent 205 runs (and appeared on other Peugeot models), reinforcing the brand’s long-running partnership with the Paris tournament.

Legacy and Influence Taken together, Lacoste and Roland Garros showed how a small car could carry big cultural codes — white lines, green tones, a touch of clay — and make them mobile. Parked outside a club or cruising a boulevard, these editions read as style signals as much as transport: collaborations that still feel unmistakably courtside, decades on.

DER MANN, DER WIMBLEDON NEU ERFAND Es gibt Orte, die Helden schaffen – und Helden, die Orte neu erschaffen. Roger Federer gehört zur zweiten Sorte. Bevor er kam, war Wimbledon das ehrwürdige Heiligtum des Tennissports. Seit er gegangen ist, wirkt es, als habe er ein Stück seiner Aura mitgenommen.

Als Federer 2003 seinen ersten Titel auf dem heiligen Rasen gewann, war er 21 – ein junger Mann mit etwas altmodischem Stil. Kein Muskelpaket, kein lautes Auftreten, kein Triumphgeheul. Nur fliessende Bewegung, ein Spiel ohne Reibung, fast geräuschlos. Schon damals liess sich erahnen: Hier hatte jemand diese Bühne betreten, der Tennis nicht spielte, sondern veredelte.

Acht Mal sollte er in Wimbledon triumphieren – ein Rekord, der ihn in eine andere Dimension hob. 2007, das fünfte Mal in Folge; 2009, das Epische gegen Roddick; 2012, das Elegante gegen Murray; 2017, das Zeitlose, nun bereits als Veteran mit 35 Jahren. Jeder Sieg schien weniger ein sportliches Ereignis als eine Etüde über Perfektion. Federer war kein Kämpfer im klassischen Sinn. Er war ein Ästhet, der das Kämpfen schön machte.

In Wimbledon hatte diese Ästhetik ihre natürliche Heimat gefunden. Der makellos gestutzte Rasen, das Weiss der Kleidung, das Schweigen des Publikums – all das passte zu ihm, als sei es für ihn entworfen. Wo andere Spieler mit dem Platz rangen, glitt Federer darüber hinweg, als sei der Court Teil seines Körpers. Er schien die Geometrie des Spiels intuitiv zu begreifen, seine Winkel, seine Rhythmen – wie ein Architekt, der seine eigenen Pläne bewohnt.

Heute, da der Rasen wieder anderen gehört, bleibt Federer in Wimbledon als Echo. In der Art, wie ein Zuschauer vor dem Aufschlag den Atem anhält. In der Stille zwischen zwei Ballwechseln. In der Hoffnung, dass Perfektion nicht laut sein muss. Wimbledon war immer der Tempel des Tennis. Aber erst Roger Federer machte ihn zu einer Kathedrale der Leichtigkeit.

SPIEL, SATZ, SIEG, UND EIN AUTO WENN TENNISTROPHÄEN AUF 4 RÄDERN ROLLEN

Manchmal ist der grösste Preis nicht aus Silber, sondern aus Stahl. Seit den 1970erJahren locken Turniere die Siegerinnen nicht nur mit Pokalen und Preisgeld, sondern auch mit Autos – Symbole von Prestige und Geschwindigkeit.

Beim Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart wurde es Tradition: Wer gewann, nahm nicht nur Preisgeld mit, sondern durfte auch einen Porsche in die Garage stellen. Tracy Austin eröffnete 1978 die Reihe, damals mit einem Porsche 924 – obwohl sie noch keinen Führerschein hatte. Gabriela Sabatini steuerte 1989 einen Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet als Trophäe ihrer Karriere bei, und Martina Hingis entschied sich schon als 17-Jährige oft bewusst für das Auto statt des Geldes – in diesem Fall war das Siegerauto bei ihrem Sieg in Filderstadt ein Porsche Boxster.

Am engsten ist die Automobilgeschichte im Tennis wohl mit Martina Navratilova verknüpft. Sechs Siege in Stuttgart, zahllose Pokale – ihr Verhältnis zu Autos war nie nur Nebensache. Sie war und ist eine bekennende Autofreundin: “Ich liebe Autos, ich liebe Geschwindigkeit und Klang“, sagte sie einmal. Einige Quellen berichten, sie habe im Laufe ihrer Karriere acht Porsche-Modelle gewonnen. Das ikonische Foto von 1982 zeigt sie stolz an der Kühlerfigur eines weissen Rolls-Royce – kein Turnierpreis, sondern Ausdruck von Stil und Automobil-Affinität.

Autos als Preise waren mehr als glänzende Trophäen – sie wurden fahrbare Verlängerungen des Triumphs. Während Pokale irgendwann Staub ansetzen, konnte man im PorscheCabrio den Sieg noch einmal erleben – mit geöffnetem Dach und Fahrtwind im Haar. Für Spielerinnen wie Navratilova, Sabatini oder Hingis war das Auto nicht nur ein Symbol, sondern oft selbst Teil des Spiels: ein anderes – aber ebenso elegantes – Spielfeld, auf dem man gewinnen konnte.

Sometimes style is born by accident.

During a tense match at the 1987 US Open, Chris Evert stopped play because her diamond bracelet had slipped from her wrist.

The moment was unusual enough to make headlines – and from then on, the slender line of diamonds became known worldwide as the “Tennis Bracelet”.

Long before 1987, the bracelet itself was already a classic. In jewellery circles it was known as the line bracelet — sometimes as an eternity bracelet — a sleek, flexible row of diamonds with roots in the Art Deco era.

Chris Evert had made it her signature on-court accessory throughout the 1970s, wearing the understated sparkle even in the heat of play; the US Open incident simply gave a familiar piece a new, unforgettable name.

What was once a mishap turned into an icon: the perfect fusion of sport and elegance. On court it spoke of lightness and precision; off court it became a symbol of effortless chic. Its appeal lay in its simplicity – a flexible row of diamonds, neither ostentatious nor fragile, but wearable in the very heat of play.

THE COLOUR WHITE FROM COURT TO CONCOURS White isn’t an accident. It’s a decision — one that deletes noise and leaves only silhouette, light, and line. Park a white cabrio on grass and it stops being transport; it becomes punctuation. On green, white is louder than red. It’s the visual equivalent of a clean serve: minimal gesture, maximum effect.

Its contrapuntal partner is British Racing Green — deep, civilised, a colour with a library card. Green carries lineage, pitlane folklore, clubrooms and silver cups; white brings breeze, linen, and the good kind of nonchalance. Together they read like form and shadow: weight and lift, heritage and holiday.

The young Crown Prince on court When tennis became the sport of society in the 1920s, Suvretta House was quick to follow. Its courts, framed by forest and mountain light, became a stage for both elegance and play — a tradition that even extended into winter, when staff simply cleared the snow for guests eager to keep the rhythm alive.

In the summer of 1953, Japan’s Crown Prince Akihito — later Emperor of Japan — stayed at Suvretta House. The Engadiner Post noted that the 20-year-old prince, feeling somewhat “indisposed,” was rarely seen outside, except when he played a few quiet matches on the hotel’s own court.

These rare photographs capture more than a royal pastime: they preserve a moment when sport, diplomacy, and mountain serenity converged — and when Suvretta’s tennis tradition reached its most graceful peak.

THE FIRST INDOOR TENNIS COURT IN EUROPE

From tennis rackets to sushi – the eventful history of a unique space When the Badrutt’s Palace Hotel opened Europe’s first indoor tennis court in 1913, it set not only an architectural milestone but a social one. In the early 20th century, tennis was the sport of high society – elegant, modern, touched with exclusivity. The possibility of playing in the snowy Engadin winters made St. Moritz even more alluring.

The hall quickly became a meeting place for the international set: in 1922, the Palace even hosted an official tournament under the umbrella of the International Lawn Tennis Federation – won by none other than French champion Henri Cochet. The space was more than a court; it was both stage and showcase, where guests gathered not only for matches but for the refined theatre of society itself. Tennis was played here well into the 1950s, before the hall eventually lost its original function.

Today, the space lives on – as Restaurant La Coupole – Matsuhisa, a Japanese-Peruvian fine dining venue by celebrated chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa. The grand glass dome and generous proportions still evoke its sporting past, giving the restaurant a singular sense of place. With BCCM 2026, the story comes full circle: a room that once brought tennis to the mountains now hosts gastronomy and society, linking three of St. Moritz’s great traditions – Grand Hotels, Classic Cars, and Tennis.

Für die Aktiven gilt strikt: nahezu vollständig weiss. Seit dem 19. Jahrhundert wird weisse Kleidung verlangt. Der Code ist berühmt kompromisslos: keine kräftigen Farben, keine auffälligen Logos – Wimbledon ist der sartorial konservativste aller Grand Slams.

Auf den Rängen ist der Dresscode weniger rigide, aber nicht minder ikonisch. Herren in Blazern, Button-down-Hemden und Panama-Hüten – Damen in floralen Sommerkleidern, eleganten Röcken oder schicken Hosenanzügen. In der Royal Box sind die Standards am höchsten: Jackett und Krawatte für Herren, Kleider oder massgeschneiderte Ensembles für Damen. Das Ergebnis ist ein Panorama britischer Sommermode in ihrer poliertesten Form.

Wimbledon ist längst zu einem Laufsteg geworden. Von den pastellfarbenen Kleidern der Princess of Wales bis zu Prominenten in makelloser Schneiderkunst wird das Turnier modisch ebenso aufmerksam verfolgt wie sportlich. Hüte, Sonnenbrillen und ein Hauch Förmlichkeit prägen die Stimmung: zurückhaltend, elegant – der Tennissport im Sonntagsgewand.

10 ESSENTIALS 1. Panama-Hut Leichtes, handgeflochtenes Stroh schützt und veredelt zugleich. Wähle eine mittelbreite Krempe und ein dunkles Ripsband – neutral genug für Blazer wie für Sommerkleid.

Trage ihn gerade, nicht schief: Understatement statt Kostüm.

2. Sonnenbrille Klassische Fassungen wie Panto, Wayfarer, Aviator wirken zeitlos und fotografieren gut. Braune oder graue Gläser sind eleganter als verspiegelte Sporttönungen. Achte auf dezentes Branding – Logos sollten nicht das Gesicht dominieren.

3. Leinenblazer / Jackett Unstrukturiert, ungefüttert, in Ecru, Creme, Hellgrau oder Navy – so bleibt es kühl. Für “Royal-Box-Vibes” mit feiner Seiden- oder Strickkrawatte; sonst mit offenem Kragen und Einstecktuch. Leinen darf knittern – das gehört zum Charme.

4. Poloshirt / Leinenhemd Fein gestricktes Polo oder leichtes Leinenhemd in Weiss/Pastell liefert die TennisAnspielung ohne Sportlook. Keine grossen Logos, Kragen sauber, Ärmel nicht zu eng.

5. Sommerkleid (Damen) Knie- bis wadenlang, weiss, creme oder floral, aus fliessenden Stoffen. Silhouetten wie A-Linie oder Shirt-Dress sind beweglich und chic. Dekolleté dezent, Stoffe blickdicht – Day-Dress statt Cocktail.

6. Rock & Top (Damen) Weisser Plissé- oder A-Linien-Rock plus ärmelloses Top oder feine Bluse zitiert den Court ohne Verkleidung. Ein feiner Ledergürtel strukturiert, ein leichtes Tuch bringt Farbe. Ideal mit Flats oder Kitten Heels.

7. Schuhe Herren: Loafer (Wild-/Glattleder) oder schlichte weisse Court-Sneaker – sauber gehalten, keine Laufschuhe. Damen: Flats, Kitten Heels oder elegante Sandalen mit sicherem Stand auf Kies/Rasen. Komfort vor Höhe: Events dauern.

8. Accessoires Feine Accessoires runden den Wimbledon-Look ab: Einstecktücher in gedeckten Farben, schmale Gürtel und dezente Perlen- oder Goldohrringe setzen Akzente, ohne zu glänzen. Uhren mit Leder- oder feinem Metallband unterstreichen die Eleganz.

THE PIMM’S BREAK

ERDBEEREN, SOMMER & GESELLSCHAFT Kaum etwas verkörpert den britischen Sommer so perfekt wie ein Glas Pimm’s Cup, eine Portion Strawberries & Cream und eine Schale Eton Mess. Alle drei sind seit Jahrzehnten eng mit Wimbledon verbunden.

Der Pimm’s Cup geht auf James Pimm zurück, der seinen Gewürzlikör im 19. Jahrhundert in London populär machte. Seit den 1970er-Jahren gilt Pimm’s in Wimbledon als das Turniergetränk schlechthin. Der klassische Mix ist unkompliziert und erfrischend: Pimm’s No. 1, Limonade, frische Minze, Gurke, Orangenscheiben – und natürlich Erdbeeren. Der Drink steht weniger für Rausch als für Geselligkeit – eine elegante Pause zwischen den Ballwechseln und Gesprächen.

Mindestens ebenso ikonisch sind die Strawberries & Cream: frische Erdbeeren aus Kent, täglich geliefert von Hugh Lowe Farms, serviert mit leicht geschlagener Sahne.

Jährlich gehen in Wimbledon rund 28‘000 kg Erdbeeren und über 7‘000 Liter Sahne über die Theken – ein simples, aber perfektes Sommervergnügen. Die süsse Schwester dazu ist Eton Mess: zerbrochene Meringue, Schlagrahm und Erdbeeren. Das Dessert ist seit dem 19. Jahrhundert ein Klassiker englischer Sommertafeln und wird traditionell mit dem Eton College in Verbindung gebracht – ‘mess’ spielt augenzwinkernd auf die lecker-chaotische Mischung an.

Zusammen erzählen Pimm’s Cup, Strawberries & Cream und Eton Mess von britischer Leichtigkeit und Ritualkultur – genau die Art sommerlicher Eleganz, die sich auch im Garten vom Suvretta House wunderbar anfühlt.

SANDPLATZ-SOMMER, BERGLUFT & CLUBLEBEN Der Tennis Club St. Moritz steht für genau diese besondere Engadin-Mischung aus Sport, Leichtigkeit und guter Gesellschaft. At the Concours d’Élégance, the Best of Show Trophy is awarded to the car that most convincingly embodies the spirit of British motoring through design, history, condition and cultural significance. The Ian Cameron Trophy is a special distinction awarded in honour of Ian Cameron and recognises the car and team that best reflect the elegance, originality and quiet confidence he valued. The third award, the Rally Trophy, honours success in the rally and the sporting side of the BCCM. Together, the three trophies reflect the breadth of the event: style, character and performance.

BEST OF SHOW TROPHY The Best of Show Trophy is awarded to the car that most convincingly embodies the spirit of British motoring through design, history, condition and cultural significance. As the highest distinction of the Concours d’Élégance, it recognises a vehicle that stands out not only for its appearance, but also for its provenance, engineering significance and cultural presence. Inspired by the form of a crown, its sculptural design reflects British industrial and engineering excellence, combining advanced 3D printing with meticulous hand-finishing.

The trophy was conceived by Andreas Thurner, Carl Gustav Magnusson and Shuyu Li.

IAN CAMERON TROPHY The Ian Cameron Trophy is awarded in honour of Ian Cameron — designer, passionate classic car enthusiast and long-standing BCCM judge. Each year, it is presented to the car and team that the jury believes Ian would have admired most. More than an award, it is a lasting symbol of appreciation and remembrance. Its design is based on a 1960 work by Austrian sculptor Erwin Hauer, renowned for his flowing, ornamental geometries, and was selected and interpreted for the trophy by BCCM jury members and designers Carl Gustav Magnusson and Andreas Thurner.

RALLY TROPHY Presented to the winner of the BCCM rally, this trophy represents the sporting spirit of the event and honours precision, consistency and the joy of driving. As a long-established award, it also reflects the history and continuity of the rally itself: each year’s winners are commemorated on a dedicated plaque, linking every new success to those that came before. It is both a distinction for the present and a record of the BCCM’s enduring rally tradition.
