Finding Common Ground in College Sports Video

The college sports video landscape is evolving faster than ever. That’s why, for the 17th consecutive year, we’re proud to bring together this remarkable community at the SVG College Summit.

From the beginning, our goal has been simple: to create a space where talented and driven professionals working across collegiate athletics can connect, swap ideas, share a laugh — and maybe even a solution to the latest production challenge.

Welcome to the SVG College Summit: your annual opportunity to network with peers, learn from industry leaders, and dive into a program built specifically for those producing live broadcasts, in-venue shows, and creative content across college sports.

Yes, the financial state of the industry is uncertain — but opportunity has never been greater. With more powerful tools and platforms at your disposal, the potential for innovation is unlimited. So how do you stay ahead? That’s what this week is all about.

We're going under the hood with some of the best in the business — exploring new control room builds, dissecting elite live productions, examining standout digital and social strategies, and unpacking the technology that powers it all.

This event is about sharing knowledge, celebrating wins, and reconnecting with a community that knows how to work hard — and have fun doing it.

We’ll also take a moment to honor one of our own. Please join us in the Regency Ballroom immediately following lunch as we remember Mike Bilbow, this year’s SVG College Pioneer Award honoree.

A huge thank-you to the SVG College Advisory Committee for their year-round support and guidance. They help shape this event to meet your needs — whether you’re a one-person department or part of a powerhouse program. Say hello if you see them. They’re generous, smart, and here to help.

On behalf of the entire team at SVG, thank you for being here. We welcome your feedback and hope this event remains a must-attend on your calendar for years to come. Enjoy the Summit!

Sincerely,

How the New Business of College Athletics Impacts Video Production

There’s no denying that college athletics is being dramatically altered by the era of name, image, and likeness (NIL), but what does it mean for our world of video production and distribution?
