The winter season at the Adaptive Sports Foundation (ASF) is an exciting time when we offer alpine skiing activities across several regions in Quebec With our expertise and adapted equipment, we provide group programs and private initiation sessions Our trained volunteers welcome each participant, young or adult, for unforgettable and safe moments at the mountains. We believe that sports help people living with physical disability adopt an active lifestyle, socialize, and push their limits.
At ASF, everyone can enjoy alpine skiing, regardless of functional limitations We have the equipment and skills needed to meet each individual’s specific needs and collaborate with an increasing number of ski resorts that share our vision
Our mission is to make alpine skiing accessible to anyone who wants to practice it, without having to purchase costly equipment. We also support families, ski resorts, and communities to ensure every region can offer our services and create magical moments for all.
If you know people who would like to get involved and make a real difference, invite them to join us!
Volunteers are invaluable to all that we do. Thanks to the commitment, dedication and passion of over 250 volunteers every year, we are able to offer participants unique and enriching experiences. Whether it’s on the slopes, in the water, in the mountains, our true “Merchants of Happiness” embody the heart of the Adaptive Sports Foundation Our model relies 100% on their involvement, and without them, none of this would be possible
Every volunteer does their part! They all contribute to creating an inclusive and respectful environment where everyone can find a true sense of accomplishment and forge new friendships. They help to improve the lives of our participants by giving them a precious sense of freedom and confidence Every smile, every burst of laughter and every moment of joy is made possible thanks to them, and we are infinitely grateful In this coming year, we will challenge them all to invite at least one friend so they can discover what we do. We're convinced that to try it is to adopt it! Once again, we'd like to thank our volunteers for being with us on this wonderful human adventure.
