Will STOCKLEY Throughout my life, I have always been determined to pursue a career in sport. I have competed at a variety of different levels, ranging from school events to competing for my country.

My biggest and proudest achievement to date has been representing England at the SIAB International, when I won gold. Studying both sport and science at an advanced level, whilst at school, has confirmed that a sports related career is the path I am determined to follow.

I believe that the US system offers greater opportunity to pursue both my academic and athletics career. Studying in the US will help broaden my horizons and reveal new, exciting opportunities to compete in athletics; allowing me to develop within a team and as an athlete, whilst still gaining important skills to help me become a well-rounded individual. I am also excited at the prospect of campus life as I know that I will be within a supportive environment.

I achieve results by setting myself high standards, which requires me to be dedicated to both my sporting and academic endeavours. My recent results show that my strong work ethic enables me to succeed.

My high level of work, willingness to make sacrifices and ability always push himself to be the best would be what I bring to a collegiate team. A variety of mportant traits needed to succeed in any aspect of life. So would benefit from a being a part of a collegiate team as I’ll be around like-minded people, all determined and pushing each other to achieve a similar goal.
