Welcome by Thomas Rowsell I am a student athlete looking to compete at the highest level possible, I am self-disciplined, committed and a hard worker in every aspect in life but particularly on and around the golf course. I have competed at high levels of both team sports and individual sports ranging from tennis to football to golf and still enjoy the felling of helping your fellow team mates and friends to a hard earned win, these experiences have not only benefited me on the golf course but has also taught me valuable life skills such as team work and leadership particularly being captain at school and club levels for various teams and sports. I have taken inspiration from Ryan Moore as well as Jason Day which has taught me the "never say die attitude" that I believe will eventually reward myself with success, I am very competitive with everything and never being satisfied with anything other than the best. Golf has always been at the centre of my life as well as my dream to progress to the highest possible level, from a young age I knew my end destination was in Golf. When I’m not playing sport or doing school work I try to get to the gym to work as much as I can in order to give me no reason not to win out on the course. I usually go to the gym 3 times a week to work on my golf specific exercise scheme designed using the Titleist performance institute, I feel this has benefited my game allowing me to swing my body more efficiently and effectively to produce more power and consistancy. Overall I feel my lifestyle will help me thrive in a collage environment allowing me to make the most of my time and performing for the team. My aim is to use collage to help me reach my maximum potential and see where that leads me in the long run whilst in the short run I want to shoot the best scores and perform for the team as well as i can, as well as gaining some great experiences that I can take throughout my life as an athlete, hopefully in years down the line I can look back at collage years and know I gave it my all, and did everything possible in my control to be the best, for both as an individual as well as for the team.
