To whom it may concern, I had the pleasure of coaching Sara Guest for the 2013 season in Australia when she was representing her under 15 club side, Rockingham Redbacks. I could see that Sara was a talented hockey player from the first session. She also trained with the ladies 1st team and played every week for the 2nd ladies team. She has a great love for the sport and would always give her best during training & competition. She was my only candidate for the captaincy as she lead by example on & off the pitch. She is well respected by her peers and that was very evident on & off the pitch. Her passion to learn and take on board what she is being coached is remarkable and would try to apply that in her own game.

Sara came to me to ask for some specific 1on1 coaching. She had pin pointed an area in her game that needed development and she knew she needed to develop in that area to become a better player. It's that kind of self awareness & dedication that sets Sara apart from her peers. She is an outstanding young lady and would be a credit to your scholarship programme at Taunton.
