Welcome by Amy Herrington I would love to study in the US because it would enable me to embrace a new lifestyle both in education and training. I would be able to experience the size and passion of college sport and play my part in helping to achieve success for the university. The facilities and opportunities which the US college sport system offers, will help me to fulfill my potential and further improve my standards. I would also get the chance to compete for the university in bigger and better things which are open for me and to meet and work with new coaches and training partners, and to travel to new places with new friends and teammates.

To the Track and Field team, I would bring commitment, hard-work and a love of sport in general. I would bring talent to the throws squad and a friendly, out-going nature to fit in and be an integral part of the sports environment.

In the 2016 track and field season, I am aiming to win Gold at the English Schools Championships in July.

Further ahead to my time in the US, my ambitions are to win a conference title and proceed through to the NCAA Championships. Ultimately I would love to win a medal in the NCAA Championships, as I believe I have the potential to throw the top distances and compete

against the best studentathletes. My biggest ambition in the long-term is to win Great Britain vests for major championships and have a chance to compete against the best in the world on a senior stage.
