His tenure as Music Director of the Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra was highly praised and included numerous commissioned works and a three-city tour of China in June 2016, marking the orchestra’s second international tour and its first to Asia.

Kalia now serves as the Music Director of Indiana’s 87-yearold Evansville Philharmonic orchestra, New Hampshire’s 97-year-old orchestra, Symphony New Hampshire, California’s Orchestra Santa Monica and he is also the Co-Founder and Music Director of the celebrated Lake George Music Festival in upstate New York, which celebrates its ten-year anniversary in August 2021. The 2021-22 season sees Kalia leading his orchestras in live concerts.
