Ta  e l Ea i n g s Easy Step by Step Make!

1. Starting off with 1m soutache and frayblock all ends – this will stop your soutache braid from fraying.

2. Mark 30cm from one end as this is where you stop one spiral and start the other.

3. Now thread your needle up with around 1 meter of S-Lon D and stitch to attach the thread to the end of your soutache.

Begin rolling up your soutache to make a spiral - stitch to secure.

4. Keep going until you reach the 30cm point that you marked in step 2, now roll up the other end in the same way.

5. Where the two spirals meet put in several stitches to secure the two spirals together – be careful to stitchonly through the central channel in the soutache and do not pull your stitches tight – if you do it will cause the soutache to pucker.

6. Now attach the tassel to the smaller spiral with 8 seed beads.

7. Attach the larger spiral to the ear wires using jump rings as shown.

Ta-da! Your new earrings are ready to go!
