Lodge 47, Seaton youth excited about sixth grade school year
Dear Vestnik Readers,
Lodge 47, Seaton youth visits grandparents in College Station
Dear Vestnik Readers, It is now August. I don’t want to go back to school. Last week, I went to my grandparents’ house. I had fun. They live in College Station. One day while I was there, we went to Brenham. We went to see the Blue Bell Ice Cream Museum. Let me tell you about Bluebell. I thought it was supposed to be a 45-minute tour. It turns out, it was only a 15-minute tour. Gosh, what a disappointment! Well, I hope if you go to Blue Bell, you know that it’s going to be a disappointment now. They had a gift shop, but everything in there was so pricey. We also got to go to a haunted graveyard, but it was closed. Then we wanted to go to Golden Corral, but there wasn’t one in Brenham. Even the gas station was a disappointment. The gas was too pricey. Or maybe we went to the gas station to turn around. I don’t remember.

When we got back to College Station, we finally got to go to the Golden Corral. It was great. They had an ice cream machine and everything. They even had an Icee machine. I got an Icee, and it was so delicious. It made the day better.
Oh, well, bye.

Back to School Supply Drive: Lodge 79, Corpus Christi Youth Club
Lodge 79, Corpus Christi Youth Club collected school supplies for the Back to School Supply Drive. Youth members are pictured displaying their collected donations.

I am so sad that summer is almost over. I feel like it just flew by. I am also kind of excited to start middle school. I’m going into sixth grade. It will be a big transition. The first day of school is in two weeks. I had a lot of fun at the beach and the pool this summer.
Today is the Lodge 47, Seaton youth outing at Jeremiah’s Italian Ice. I can’t wait to enjoy ice cream and Italian ice.
We just had the State Youth Showcase. I did nine out of the 11 categories, and also group and individual talent. I got two medals and a lot of cash. We also got to go to the water park, which was a lot of fun.
I got to go to my Mawmaw’s and Pawpaw’s house after the Showcase. I stayed there for five days. I had fun going to the Bluebell Ice Cream Museum, golfing, and more. It was really hot so we stayed indoors a lot. It has also been dry. I really want it to rain soon. See you next month.

Lodge 20, Granger youth volunteers at Slice of Heaven

Today, my mom and I volunteered at Slice of Heaven Educational Farm in Holland. It’s hard work, but it’s also a lot of fun. I enjoy taking care of the horses. Farm life is the best life. #spjstgivesback
