Thank You, Volunteers!

“What is the essence of life? To serve others and to do good.”

Spoken by Greek philosopher Aristotle over 2300 years ago, one of the most ancient quotes about volunteering offers proof that giving back to the community is hardly a new concept.

From visiting the elderly, serving in a soup kitchen, or assisting at an animal shelter, there are no shortage of ways volunteers can help make a difference. The greatest thing about volunteering are the benefits it offers to individual recipients, their communities, and the volunteers themselves.

National Volunteer Appreciation Week is April 16 to 22! Thank you to all of our outstanding volunteers for the time, energy, and talent they bring to SPJST and our lodges across Texas. We applaud and celebrate our volunteers for the extraordinary difference they make in SPJST.
