What is

Pelvic Girdle Pain?

Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP) is a term used to describe pain experienced in the front, back and side of your pelvis. It is caused by a stiffness of the pelvic joints or the joints moving unevenly at either the back or front of the pelvis. It can affect different groups of the general population; in particular pregnant women, low back pain sufferers and sportsmen/women. PGP can be the result of trauma1,2 and is considered to be the main source of pain in up to 30% of low back pain sufferers3,4,5, and up to 50% of pregnant women6,7.

4-Way Adjustable Pelvic 2 Compression Belt

Allows the front and back components of the pelvic compression belt to be angled for optimal fit and comfort. This is especially important when used for PGP during pregnancy.

These features uniquely allow SacroFix® to provide a general supportive compression to the whole of the pelvic girdle whilst producing a stable and specifically targeted compression to either the sacroiliac joints or the symphysis pubis.

Easy to fit

The SacroFix© brace is easy to put on and can be fitted in 2 easy steps: Step 1 The fastenings on the belt are unfastened and the shorts pulled up to stretch evenly and comfortably conforming to your body.

Step 2 Tension is applied to the belt by tensioning all four fastenings into the centre with equal tension or as directed by your medical professional.

The SacroFix© brace allows you to make additional optional adjustments to enhance the fit for maximum pain relief and comfort, including adjustments for pregnant users throughout their pregnancy.
