FROM THE BOARD It is a real pleasure to welcome you to Los Angeles and to the official launch of the International Toy Board Foundation. The Foundation has been created around a simple belief: that our international toy community is stronger when we work together. At the heart of our global community are the relationships, partnerships and shared experiences that bring us together across continents and markets. As a Board, we want to build on these connections and create a Foundation that helps international toy businesses and individuals to connect, collaborate, share knowledge and be meaningfully represented. We are incredibly proud of the support and interest the Foundation has already received. Tonight marks an important milestone, but it is very much the beginning of what we hope to build together. Our ambition is for the Foundation to be practical, inclusive and genuinely valuable to the global toy industry - creating opportunities to support one another and strengthen the voice of our international community. Most importantly, we want the industry to help shape what comes next. The launch of the International Toy Board Foundation brings together people and businesses from across the global toy industry – to connect, share knowledge and support a stronger international community.
Introduction to our Speakers. We’re delighted to welcome Nick Galletti and Patrick Bowman, two highly experienced industry professionals who bring a wealth of knowledge from both the retail and supplier sides of the toy business. Drawing on their experience working with some of the world’s leading retailers and brands, Nick and Patrick will share practical insights into what major retailers are looking for, how businesses can stand out, and what it really takes to build successful relationships in the US market.

Nick Galletti
Patrick Bowman is a seasoned merchandising executive with extensive experience in retail strategy, category management and business development across some of the world’s leading retailers. He spent more than a decade at Walmart, including seven years leading the Action Figures and Construction categories, where he secured major licensing partnerships, developed exclusive products and managed more than $1 billion in annual sales. His career also includes leadership positions at Amazon and Anderson News, giving him deep expertise in merchandising, e-commerce, distribution, licensing and data-driven decisionmaking. Today, Patrick serves as Vice President of Sales at PhatMojo, where he partners with leading retailers to bring innovative licensed toys and collectibles to market.
Nick Galletti has spent nearly two decades on the buyer’s side of mass retail, running hundreds of programs from factory floor to store shelf. His career spans buying roles at Target, Sears/Kmart, Dollar Tree, JCPenney and six years at Dollar Genera - including as Senior Buyer. Today, as a manufacturers’ representative, Nick helps suppliers break into major mass-market and value-channel retailers, translating buyer requirements, cost structures and compliance demands into a practical path to shelf.
