This is an online sale only. All bidding will be done online at www.dvauction.com. Bid price is per embryo. Sale will open Dec. 30 at noon CST and will close at 7 p.m., Dec. 30, 2022. All lots will close at the same time. Bidding will be extended by 5 minutes if a bid is placed on any lot within 5 minutes of the closing time.

Terms & Conditions: Terms of the sale are cash. All transactions will be between buyer and seller only. No embryos will be released until payment is made in full. Bid price is per embryo.

Guarantee:

Pregnancy guarantee: 3 embryos/1 pregnancy or 5 embryos/2 pregnancies Pregnancy guarantee applies if the embryos are implanted by a certified Embryologist.

Shipping: Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. Embryos are stored at Rocky Mountain Reproductive, Billings, MT or TransOva Genetics, Sioux Center, IA and will be shipped from either location.

Embryo Collection: Embryos are denoted as Conventional or IVF by each lot. A few of the lots are exported to Canada and those are denoted as well. Conventional embryos were collected by Rocky Mountain Reproductive, and IVF embryos were produced by TransOva.

U2 Erelite 109Z

When U2 Ranch in Alberta held their historic dispersion in the Fall of 2018, Brad Boner from M Diamond Angus asked if we were interested in going after U2 Erelite 109Z. Her strength as a breeding female was already evident in our program through the use of her son, Coalition. It was with great excitement that our operations teamed up and set out to bring her to America. When the gavel fell, $140,000 later, she was headed to the States to serve as a foundation donor in both ranches’ programs. U2 Erelite 109Z embodies all we desire in an Angus female. She is way good. There are few Angus females that can rival her kind and breeding power. She is massively deep ribbed and flanked with a ton of muscle, yet she presents a small-teated, well attached udder with worlds of femininity and angularity. As we are getting more of her progeny on the ground, her potency as a dam is getting solidified even further. As our inventory of her influence grows, we have decided to headline our 2022 Frozen Genetics Sale offering with her influence.

The right to one IVF aspiration on 109Z to the bull of the buyer’s choice.

We will guarantee 6 freezable embryos with no ceiling. Bid price is on the lot as a whole not per embryo. Work will be done at Yackley’s TransOva donor center in Onida, SD, with semen and all flushing costs to be covered by the purchaser. 109Z has been aspirated 15 times averaging 33.3 oocytes per collection with an average of 13.6 producing freezable embryos per aspiration.

We selected Coalition as the high-selling Black bull out of the 2016 U2 Ranch Production Sale in Alberta, Canada. He has far suprassed our expecations as a breeding bull. His ability to stamp his progeny with like phenotype, exhibiting a big hip, right structure and tremendous eye-appeal is uncanny. Furthermore, he refines teats, and tidies udders as well as any sire we’ve used in recent years. “Behind every great bull is a great mother”this old adage gets tossed around often, but in the case of Coalition, Erelite 109Z makes this old adage fact. We attribute a large part of Coalition’s ability to sire like phenotype, great dispositions, tremendous udders, and Angus breed character to the power he gets from his dam. She is a special female and has passed on many of her great merits to Coalition. The lots offered by her in this sale will possess her limitless genetic potential. S Blossom 0278 is a female whose imprint on our program will be felt for years to come. She doesn’t know how to miss. We’ve mated her to numerous sires over the years and she returns successful results every time. Her list of accomplishments in our past sales gets quite lengthy. Her sons have been highly sought after including the $30,000 S Chisum 255 and the $65,000 S Cornerstone 607. Every year we try to offer at least one of her ET daughters in our production sale and they always highlight, selling from $12,000 to $29,000. As a coming 13-year-old cow, she raised a great big calf again this past summer, and we marveled at how her udder and feet just don’t change. Pine Coulee Ever Entense D22 came to us as the $36,000 high-selling female in the Fall 2021 Ladies of the Beartooth Production Sale. She is a really good Angus cow. Her body type is one to emulate repeatably, as we so appreciate her mass, power, and highly functional udder. On pedigree she combines some the real heavyweights of the Angus breed in Resource, EXT, and AAR New Trend. We are excited to be adding her into our genetic pool and think she has worlds of good to offer our operation.

Pine Coulee Everelda W77 made a big splash in our inaugural embryo sale last December as both high selling lots were her future progeny. Added to our donor line-up in 2021, her impact in our program is still just beginning. Her dam is an EXT daughter of the famed Everelda Entense 1137, whose place in Angus history as one of the elite matriarchs of the breed is firmly secured. “1137” is a daughter of Rainmaker 340 who then traces to Traveler 124. Just the analysis of the bottom side of “W77’s” pedigree was enough to elevate her to a female with a legendary maternal backing. Combining all this strength with the muscle and performance her sire, Net Worth, passes on we thought she was special enough to need to be added to our donor line-up. She is powerful in her build, kind in her attitude and poised to be a real impact at our ranch.

Foundation x Game Day x Right Time

A sweetheart of a female, S Queen Essa 7149 joined the ranks of South Ranch donor female this past summer. Moderate in her kind, she has a fault free udder, with refined, evenly spaced teats. Her pedigree is a compilation of bulls known for making cows that last and last. A daughter of Foundation, she then traces to a Game Day daughter of our matriarch Right Time donor, Queen Essa 208. This mild mannered, easy keeping female elevated her producing status after her son, S Armstrong topped our 2022 Production Sale at $90,000 selling to ST Genetics. Queen Essa 7149 is the kind of female that is built to last and will continue to be utilized readily in our donor program.

816

This mating offers a unique pedigree outcross to most of the Angus world. It also offers a maternal reliability that is not found on every street corner. Duke 816 is a big EPD spread bull whose pedigree combines two shots of Windy cattle along with the Rainmaker bloodline. Duke 816 is a featured member of the Beef-360 lineup and was recently added to the Schaff Angus Valley herd bull roster. This mating should be explosive for maternal performance.

We have a whole slew of Coalition daughters on our ranch, but only one is our favorite, and that female is S Queen Essa 8159. A high producing individual, Queen Essa 8159 is just a really good cow. Right in her body type, she has a ton of rib and flank, a really good udder, a quality attitude and she stems from the same Queen Essa cows family as donor 7149. 8159 traces back to our matriarch Queen Essa 208, our Right Time donor and long-standing benchmark for maternal superiority. On the way to 208 in her pedigree she combines the influence of Open Country and Chisum 6175, two bulls whose mark in our herd is widespread and noteworthy. Look for 8159’s influence in our production sale with numerous progeny for years to come.

S Armstrong topped our 2022 Production Sale at $90,000 selling to ST Genetics. He is a son of donor dam S Queen Essa 7149, whose embryos sell as Lot 5.

S Heiress 193 is a daughter of our female making legend Summit 956. Heiress proved her way into our donor line-up through her can’t miss production record on her natural calves. A powerfully built female, she has more size and dimension than many of the Summit daughters. Recording a progeny weaning ratio of 8/107, she has placed 4 sons into registered operations. Offering a bit of a pedigree outcross, she is fully backed for maternal security as her dam combines Max 602C and Alliance 6595. Heiress is a big-time donor female for us and we are trying to accumulate as many of her daughters as we can.

A true beef bull, Wrangler is a Coalition son and one of the best bulls phenotypically that we have every produced. He has unparalleled muscle shape and expression, while still siring daughters with plenty of femininity and angularity.
