Introduction As I see it, Autumn is the best season.

Beautiful colours and chilly air. This season is when one very special girl was born. She was named after the season. Little Autumn had gotten a sister one year later and another two years after that. The eldest sister out of the two was named April. Alex was the youngest.

Autumn, April and Alex lived in a big farmhouse in the British countryside. The three girls lived with their Mama, Papa, two cats and one German shepherd dog. When Alex was two years old, and April was four, they were both homeschooled. While the eldest sister went to the local village school most days a week. Other days she helped out on the farm.

On a Saturday in mid July, Autumn had gotten sick from working in the sun all day on the farm. The Brooks family didn’t like going out into the city, but medicine was sparse in the countryside. Mrs Brooks walked to the big city for the medicine. On the way back, one man, who was very smartly dressed, in an old car crashed into Mrs Brooks. She was taken to a hospital and the doctors did everything they could. In spite of that, it was too late to save the farmer, wife, mother and loving, good person.

The Girls and their papa were devastated and cried themselves to sleep for two whole months.

Then Mr Brooks sat them all down in the old barn, that was converted into a play area for the girls.

And told Autumn, April and Alex a secret that they should have known a long time ago.

The secret would change their lives forever.

It was a gift.

The gift was wings.

These wings could be exposed by wearing special shoes, they will be able to control the wings until the girls learn to control them on their own. This would take loads of experience and training. The next few weeks were filled with learning, teaching and flying. On the fourth of August in the morning, Mr Brooks was nowhere to be found and their house was surrounded by men, dressed the same as the man who killed Mrs Brooks almost four months ago. This is how Autumn knew she and her sisters were in danger. Two days later they started living in the forest at the English border.

The girls lived in that forest for two whole months. Getting food from berry bushes, and water from a leaky water pipe. It wasn’t nice, but it was an adventure. Then seventeen year old Autumn decided to let her sisters and herself start a new life, they flew across sea and land the next night.

Hot, tropical Maldive islands (Maldives), is where the girls ended up at 10:30 on a Saturday morning.

All the sisters got jobs and friends and a brilliant three storey house in the grassy part of the islands.

Big palm trees shading the back yard, sea and sand all around them. The sinking islands were the perfect home. Although, it was hard getting used to sunny sky, lots of water, palm trees and loads of sand when they lived at a farm in Great Britain, then a forest. Would you like to live on an Island?
