EVENT HQ Botolph Claydon Village Hall, St Marys Rd, Botolph Claydon, Buckinghamshire, MK18 2LP We have arranged for parking in the field opposite the HQ, however please note, this will NOT be available if it has recently rained / or if the weather is inclement. If this is the case please take care to park within the village so as not to cause an obstruction. Please DO NOT park on the race route itself. The Race HQ will be open from 07:00am. You will only be able to sign on at 07:20am for the Regional A race and 11:00am for the Women’s Race Exceptions will be made for those helping at the earlier race. There will be a box at sign on for car keys. You will need to supply your physical race number to prove ownership of said keys as a security measure. If you are using public transport from London, Marylebone Station runs a train to Aylesbury Vale Parkway hourly and London Euston to Bletchley every half hour, 9 miles and 12 miles respectively from HQ Food will be available from Mission Impizzable together with drinks and a superb array of cakes. Please be aware there are no cash machine facilities in the village.

COMPETITION OUTLINE The Regional A Event is part of the Central Road Race League. It’s open to 2nd, 3rd and 4th Category Men plus all categories of Women. The Women’s Event is part of the London Women’s Racing League. It’s open open to 2nd, 3rd and 4th Category Women only. The course consists of 2.5 laps of a 46.2km course, totalling 115km; The lap can be found on the Garmin website on this link https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/16790123 There are NO primes during the race. The course is utilising accredited marshals on a rolling basis. It is vitally important to realise that; 1) If there is NO lead vehicle in front of you and you have fallen out of the main bunch you will have NO Marshal protection on the roads. 2) You can continue to race but will need to treat all junctions as “unprotected and unwarned” or retire. 3) Where a lead vehicle is in front of you, but you have fallen out of the main race convoy, you may only have limited protection and should treat all junctions with care. All riders finishing within 10 minutes of the main peloton (not necessarily front of race) will be placed. After the main race convoy has completed the race, the Broom Wagon will do an additional lap to collect any last lap/late race mechanicals, If you do not signal for it to pick you up, it won’t.

ADDITIONAL HAZARDS: The road surface around the course is very poor. We have marked as many hazards as we can but as riders please lookout and call hazards as they are seen whilst racing ***Potential Course detour at Padbury*** The course suffers from regular flooding at Padbury. If it has flooded on the day, then a minor detour will be completed. Please listen carefully to the Commissaire briefing before the race begins
