THINGS ARE HAPPENING IN QUEEN ANNE:

n TRICK OR TREAT ON THE AVE – sponsored by the Queen Anne Chamber of Commerce.

Each Halloween, the community gathers on Queen Anne Avenue for the spookiest and most sugary night of the year.

Over 5,000 kids and parents have attended this event as the merchants open their doors from 4PM to 6PM and distribute goodies to young ghouls and goblins who trick-or-treat along Queen Anne Avenue North, between McGraw and Galer.

Safety is a must and volunteer crossing guards are on hand. Volunteers are needed and always welcome. If you would like to volunteer, please email us at info@queenannechamber.org

n HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING - Sponsored in part by the Queen Anne Chamber Annually, from November to February, the Queen Anne Chamber delights in lighting up the trees all along Upper Queen Anne Ave. These beautifully festive, sparkling white lights bring holiday cheer and draw shoppers and patrons to Queen Anne.

This tradition is made possible through partnership with our Queen Anne merchants and neighbors. How you can YOU help? Simple! Sponsor a tree for just $225 and we will place a festive sign with your personal message prominently displayed on YOUR TREE! Show your family’s or business’s neighborhood spirit, memorialize a loved one, or join in with friends and neighbors and share a holiday message from your block. We can also print company logos and children’s artwork! The twinkly little lights on your tree will make it festive, but your personalized message will make it special.

To sponsor a tree, please visit https://queenannechamber.org/holiday-tree-lighting-1/ to easily order online or email us info@queenannechamber.org

n HOLIDAY MAGIC & GRAND TREE LIGHTING

Holiday shopping comes alive on Upper Queen Anne as retailers and businesses all along Queen Anne Avenue North open their doors for Queen Anne’s annual Holiday Magic. The fun starts at 4:00 p.m. with merchants offering special holiday cheer and festivity. Stop in for some hot mulled cider and cookies, or get your picture taken with that jolly guy in the red suit. Bring the whole family and enjoy a day-into-evening fun-filled shopping experience. The Ave will be festooned with twinkling lights hanging from trees with personal messages from sponsoring families and local businesses. You just can’t get a better shopping experience during the holidays than this.

The evening then kicks off the holiday season with the ever-so-popular event of the Grand Tree Lighting. We gather at the Towne Center with our neighbors and local merchants who offer warm drinks and treats, festive music and finally, the count -down to the lighting of the grand tree.

This special event is made possible by the Queen Anne Chamber of Commerce. If you are interested in helping sponsor a portion of this event, please visit our website for more information www.queenannechamber.org or email us info@queenannechamber.org

n CHAMBER AFTER HOURS

Chamber Members: Host an “After Hours” in 2018

These events allow Queen Anne Chamber members some serious face time with potential customers and other local businesses and offer terrific networking opportunities for all who attend.

Great advertising for your business, including being featured for an entire month as the member spotlight on our website and your name splashed all over the invitations sent out to our membership.

To learn more about this opportunity and which dates are available, please visit our website www.queenannechamber.org or email us info@queenannechamber.org
