SPECHTS SPOTLIGHT 3M Homo Black, Homo Polled, PB | ASA 4356464| 1/8/2024
Here’s your chance to get in on this young cow that’s just getting started! Just take a look at her first heifer - Leading Lady - on the next page and you’ll see there’s a lot to be excited about with this opportunity. I think the hardest part is deciding what mating you’ll want to create.
TERMS · Minimum of five (5) transferable embryos resulting from one IVF. All transferable embryos produced beyond the first eight (8) shall be divided equally between buyer and seller, with the seller receiving the first (odd-numbered) embryo from the remaining embryos and the buyer receiving the next (even-numbered) embryo, alternating thereafter until all remaining embryos have been allocated. · The buyer will select the mating and provide semen for the flush. · The IVF aspiration will be performed at Trans Ova Genetics' Postville, Iowa satellite location within twelve (12) months of the sale date. · The seller will coordinate and provide transportation of the donor to and from the IVF facility. · Buyer is responsible for all costs associated with the IVF procedure, including aspiration, semen, fertilization, embryo freezing, storage, and shipping. Seller is responsible for embryo freezing and storage for odd-numbered embryos starting with number 9. · Feel free to call with any questions. OPENING BID: $3500

The heifer calf from the Champion PB B&O Cow/Calf Pair at the 2026 AJSA National Classic! Lady has proven her own, too! She won her class at the 2026 Iowa State Fair Junior Simmental Show and stood second in class in the Open Simmental Show. Here’s one you can grab the lead and start showing immediately after sale day. My favorite thing about this heifer is that her future in the pasture is even more exciting than her time in the showring.
Onyx is out of a first calf heifer and the first of the two Opal grand-daughters we have in the sale. This heifer is impressive. She doesn’t have the shine as the two heifers we showed this summer, but she could easily have stood in the show string with those girls. She’s the only Krown calf we had this year, but based on her style and performance I’m anxious to see more!

Here’s another one you can grab the lead on and start showing tomorrow! Lucky was successful at the Iowa State Fair and has a temperament for just about any showman. The Gypsy cow family is just getting started for us and Matt and I debated letting this one go. We feel this heifer will grow out a lot like her maternal sister that Lucy had so much fun showing in 2022-2023.
OPENING BID: $3500
They Gypsy cow family has done a great job for us since we purchased 44G in 2021 from Sanny Farms. We originally flushed Gypsy Soul to Relentless for in herd use only thinking we’d get a few show heifers for the kids. Imagine our surprise when we ended up with nearly 40 #1 embryos in the tank! With numbers like that, we thought we’d share! Offering three (3) #1 embryos: SLFF/SS Gypsy Soul 31J x W/C Relentless (sexed heifer semen) Stored at Trans Ova

Brood Cow Deluxe! This is the first heifer out of Candace. Candace makes a statement every where she goes - starting in 2023 as a class winner at the AJSA National Classic, last year with her bull calf Grandpa Clyde, even just this summer when her and Suzy where named Grand Champion Cow/Calf pair at the Dubuque County Fair. Everyone that’s seen Candace remembers her as “Big Red.” Little Suzy should follow in her mom’s tracks.
Our first Right Time calves hit the ground this spring and we’d keep every one of them if we had the room. Instead, someone else is going to have the chance to own this future brood cow. She’s backed by the great Opal cow family as well. Opal traces back to one of the first Simmental cows we purchased over 40 years ago.

If you’ve been following us over the years, you’ll recognize the Pepper cow. She has her influence through out the herd as we kept several of her daughters before ever offering one in this sale. We’re not sure why she decided to have this set of twins as an 11 year old, but we can’t say we’re disappointed. The fact that she raised both of these heifers on her own is a testament to just what type of cow she is - that said - we feel both of these heifers continue to get better ever day since weaning. Just watch their videos to see what we mean! This is a chance to add two great cow prospects backed by a powerful cow family. Looking for a % Simmi steer to show next summer? Take note! Tori has done the job again! This calf will make an impressive steer next summer that should compete as a Simmi steer at most county fairs.
This purebred Simmi steer has some extra eye appeal - being blaze faced doesn’t hurt either. He would be a great Simmi 4H project.

While it might be early for some of you to be thinking about your next herd bull, we’ll have the bulls on display on sale day. These bulls offer some different options. We have always believed that not every bull is “one-size-fits-all” so let us help you match up the right bull for your herd and goals. If we don’t have him - we’ll tell you so!
Pricing will be available sale day. In the event that two or more customers express interest in the same bull prior by 3:00 PM on Oct 4,2026, there will be a bid off between those individuals. After 3:00 PM on Oct 4, 2026, all bulls will be priced first come first served. For bulls purchased in October, the buyer has two options: OPTION #1: The bulls are priced to be held by us until March 15, 2027 with $500 down at purchase. We will continue to grow the bulls out, update them on all shots, and have them semen evaluated; or OPTION #2: If the buyer prefers to take possession of the bull immediately, we will take $400 off the price of the bull and the bull needs to be picked up by November 1. Due to the wide variation in bull development programs, we cannot guarantee breeding soundness of the bull with this option.
