ABOUT US Our illustrated publishing programme began in 1971, when Pat and David Alexander created the first title, The Lion Handbook to the Bible, a fully illustrated 800-page guide with the aim of helping people to engage more deeply with the Bible – to understand its message, discover its treasures and explore what it means for life today.

Across our Editorial, Design, Production and Co-edition Sales teams, we bring together decades of experience in creating, printing and delivering beautifully illustrated Christian books to publishing partners around the world. In 2025, we printed a total of 370,000 copies for our co-edition partners over 86 different titles and 20 different languages. – A recent bestseller in co-editions is My Big Story Bible from Tom Wright, one of the world’s most popular Christian authors. This is translated into 19 languages, including:

HOW A CO-EDITION WORKS 1. You select the title(s) you would like to translate and distribute in your territory from our extensive co-editions publishing programme of fresh, engaging, faith-filled books for children and families. 2. We agree a price for the number of copies you would like to print and confirm the co-printing schedule: when your translated files will need to be supplied and when the books will be available at the printers. We will also agree other terms, for example if we look after the shipping for you and deliver to your warehouse or local port, or if we hand the books over at the printer’s port. 3. Once our agreement is signed, we send you the full files for your cover and the
InDesign files for the inside pages. You are welcome to use our cover design or design your own. 4. You translate the title and position your translated text on the inside pages and then send us the black text pdfs and your cover files. 5. We send your files, together with the other editions that are printing at the same time, to the printer. 6. You check and approve the plotters for printing. 7. Our printer prints and delivers your books as per your shipping instructions and our agreement.
