“We don’t need another political uprising. We don’t need another conqueror on the scene. What we need is a special word, that will bond within our hearts and give us direction from above. We need a Word from the Lord. A Word from the Lord. Just one Word from the Lord, will remove all the doubts and cause the sun to shine and give peace of mind. Speak Lord, Speak Lord.”

MAY IS

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This is a time to share the importance of mental health and wellness, and to celebrate recovery from mental illness.

If you are concerned about your mental health or about someone you know, call, chat, or text 988. This 24 hour a day, 7 day a week lifeline provides free and confdential support in English, Spanish and to people who are deaf and hard of hearing.

Go to FindSupport.gov for issues with mental health, drugs, or alcohol. The website provides information (in Spanish and English) on fnding health care or support, how to cope, learn about treatment and how to pay for treatment, how to help someone, and how to get help now.

Whether we share resources, encourage others to seek help, or simply are there for someone when they need us, we instill hope and can help others to reach out when they need to most.

This month, talk with your loved ones. Talking about mental health promotes acceptance and encourages people to seek help.

Your achievements deserve recognition! Scan the QR code to complete our online form and join us in celebrating our graduates the St. Paul's way, no matter what stage of education you're completing! Registration Deadline: May 31, 2024

Be sure and remember to lift our members up in prayer. Maturing in age can be difficult, scary, and sometimes very lonely. You can make a difference by sending a “Thinking of You” card, or giving them a call just to say, “You were on my mind”. Let us not forget that we are here because someone prayed for us. 513-593-1805
