We were so excited to return to our friends in Uganda this February 2023 with over 300 dresses from our Sewing Angels. We also have a Sewing Angel in Uganda, Pastor Moses that made 200 pairs of boys' shorts for distribution in 3 remote villages. We thank him for his contribution to our project. The smiles, giggles and picture posing are priceless and brings joy to our hearts to see Happy children.
We THANK AND APPRECIATE every person from the seed dresses in 2016 to the present for your love and selfless participation in this service to vulnerable children in Uganda. Every act of kindness was noted.... organizing pillow case drives, buying pillow cases or material, lace, eyelet, bias tape, embellishments, ironing, cutting, pinning dresses, sewing labels by hand, providing snacks or lunch on sewing days, providing sewing machines, sewing creativity and finally helping to pack our suitcases for travel....we THANK YOU ! God Bless you and keep you safe!
Peace and blessings,

Greetings, and THANK YOU very much for partnering with the Uganda Mission Project to Dress a Girl in a Pillow Case Dress. Since we are making God's Best Dress, we ask you to please consider the following guidelines:
• The dress each girl receives may be the ONLY dress they ever have, or the ONLY NEW dress they ever receive. We want that dress to be the highest quality product in which they feel dignified and beautiful.
• The girls live in areas where they are easy targets for trafficking, rape and molestation. Does your dress add to their dignity?
• Girls may be considered "less than", just by virtue of their sex We want them to know that they are loved by God and they are indeed precious in His sight, and we show them by making the best dress possible.
• Some of these dresses will go to the poorest of the poor, and they deserve nice things with good workmanship. 1'The Lord hears the cry of the poor", we want to HONOR HIM by HONORING THEM.
• Ask yourself ...." Is the dress that you are making a dress that you would be proud to have your daughter or granddaughter wear? Is it God's BEST DRESS?
• Please use ONLY brand-new pillow cases or material that is 100% cotton. The dresses may be washed in rivers, creeks, watering holes, and maybe scubbed with rocks. Only cotton will stand up to this treatment for a long period of time.
• Please NO white cases or material, American /patriotic or holiday patterns, Disney characters, Star Wars, etc. These patterns are not appropriate for a foreign country.
• Bright colors, flowers, plaids, shapes are wonderful cases or material to use. Think about a little girl wearing a dress made from the cases or material that you purchase.
• Ties at the shoulders can vary, ie; one continuous loop that ties on one side, a bow tie on each shoulder. Ties should also be made of double wide, double fold bias tape or double fold cotton fabric. The ties should also be in one length, not pieced together and please stitch the ends. Please do not use ribbon for the ties. Ties for baby dresses can be one continuous piece of elastic at the neck.
• Pockets should be placed slightly below the mid-point of the dress, below the waist. We prefer two pockets (this might be the only place that a girl may have to hide her treasures) as there may be many persons living in small spaces.
• Elastic should measure 7" for all sizes front and back. Please ensure that all raw edges are enclosed in the bias ties and that the bias is securely fastened where it intersectswith the elastic.
• Embellishments should all be securely SEWN ON. You may use appliques, buttons, braided or woven trims, rich rack, lace, or eyelet. If using ribbon, please use a FABRIC ribbon. Please do not use hot glue to attach decorations or embellishments.
• EVERY DRESS MUST HAVE AN UMP LABEL SEWEN ON THE FRONT OF THE DRESS.
We pray that you enjoy participating in this project and THANK YOU for serving GOD by giving a Girl in Uganda a NEW DRESS !!

COVID 19 cases have significantly decreased across the United States due to vaccinations and mitigation strategies. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the St. Paul's Health and Wellness Ministry and administrative staff have followed the science and implemented mitigation strategies designed to protect our congregants and visitors. According to the CDC, the COVID-19 response to the pandemic will end as of May 11, 2023.As the end of the pandemic response by the U.S, government approaches, it is imperative that we modify protocols put into place during the pandemic response to align with current scientific recommendations. For more information, please click on the following link: httRs://www.hhs.gov/about/news/2023/02/09/fact-sheet-covid-19-Rublichealth-emergency_-transition-roadmaR.html
Therefore, the following protocols will be implemented as of April 2, 2023.
• Masks are optional. (Unanimous agreement by Deacons and Trustees)
• Vaccinations are no longer required for participation in ministry activities.
• All seats in the sanctuary will be open for occupancy.
• Persons from the same household are no longer required to be seated together.
• The culinary ministry will continue to follow post COVID guidelines as determined by the Department of Health.
• Tithes and offerings will continue to be collected online and via the towers placed in the aisles at the church.
• Church bulletins will be placed in baskets outside of the sanctuary. Congregants may pick up bulletins before entering the sanctuary.
• Congregants may enter the church using all designated entry ways and exits.
Although the pandemic response by the government has ended, the COVID-19 virus has not been completely eradicated. We continue to encourage you to be vaccinated. We will continue to monitor COVID data and recommendations from the CDC. We will modify protocols in accordance with the data. We thank you for your continued support during these unprecedented times.
