Come meet the MLK Knitters!

Would you like to lean into your crafty side or find out how easy knitting can be?

Come join us to knit for a cause and fellowship with the Unitarian Congregation of West Chester. You don't need experience, knitting needles, or supplies. Our current project supports hats for babies through the Maternal Child Health Consortium of Chester County.

Ages 10 and over are welcome! Come and bring a friend!

We will meet the first Tuesday of the month April 2nd, May 7th, and June 4th at 6:00 pm. See us on the 2nd floor, in the St. Paul's Baptist Church library. St. Paul’s Baptist Church of West Chester is looking to fill the following full time, in office, staffing positions: Technical Administrative Assistant - Monday to Friday 9:00 - 4:00 Our Technical Administrative Assistant shall provide back up support for the Church Administrative Manager and clerical support as assigned, while also working in alignment with all church staff members and contributing to support daily effective and efficient church operations. Some of the ways this will be done is through the creation of accurate and inspiring church communications, inclusive of the Sunday service and special event bulletins, support of church projects, day to day activities such as answering the telephone and doorbell, handling questions from walk-in members and visitors, general record keeping, and other duties as assigned.

Bookkeeper - Monday to Friday 9:00 - 4:00 We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our church staff. The general function of the Bookkeeper is to perform bookkeeping responsibilities required for conducting the operations of the church. Confidentiality and loyalty are to be kept in the highest ethical regard and sound judgement should be exercised in the performance of bookkeeping responsibilities. The Bookkeeper will work closely with the Pastor, Trustees, Church Treasurer, and our accountant. Primary qualifications include bookkeeping and/or accounting experience in Accounts Payable and Receivables, account maintenance, and payroll procedures; proficiency and/or experience in Quick Books, Excel, and various other office software.
