Based on new scientific data, the CDC has revised its isolation and quarantine guidelines regarding COVID-19 infections and exposures.

Important terms used in these guidelines.

· Isolation- refers to the behavior after a confirmed COVID infection via testing · Quarantine- refers to the time following exposure to the COVID virus
