REFLECTIONS 2023 CUSTOMER CALENDAR
REFLECTIONS
Dear Friends, In July 2022 I was blessed with the opportunity to lead the employees of Spartanburg Water as their next CEO. What has struck me the most over these past few months has been the warm receptiveness of the employees and the citizens of this City and County. My wife Debby and I have both been greeted with warmth, generosity and a genuine spirit of welcoming from day one.
Spartanburg was a destination for both of us and we are finding Spartanburg to be truly a special and distinctive place to live and work. I have enjoyed exploring the environmental diversity that makes this area unique and that we now call home.
The photos that citizens have provided for the 2023 Spartanburg Water calendar “reflect” some of these distinctive and memorable places all over Spartanburg County. The artwork showcases the region’s greatest asset and enduring resource, water.
The winning photographers featured in this year’s calendar did an amazing job capturing so many different locations. Their photographs speak to their personal reflections and personal views of our community. Thank you to all those who participated this year for sharing your talents with us!
I look forward to continuing to get to know many of you over the coming months and years. As customers of Spartanburg Water, you are what drives our focus on service. Our team’s daily mission is to provide safe and reliable drinking and wastewater services. All of us here at Spartanburg Water are proud of the work that we do and we will continue to provide these services with passion and purpose.
I hope you will enjoy using this 2023 calendar and wish you the very best in the year ahead.
