Master of Science in Literacy Education PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Become a literacy specialist (Birth-Grade 6 or Grades 5-12).

Promote practices that emphasize evidencebased teaching, differentiated instruction, diversity and inclusion, teaching English language learners and teacher reflection.

Immerse yourself in educational changes to meet the needs of struggling readers and writers; learn digital literacy skills to accommodate and engage at-risk learners; meet the International Literacy Association’s Literacy Specialist Standards.
