Mr. Felix Martin Aguilar President of the SCC in South Africa
Dear SCC Valued Members, friends, and esteemed readers, I am honoured to have been elected as the President of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce recently. Although my own journey as President is just beginning, I am excited and motivated to support all of you.
It has been wonderful to meet some of our
members and hear how our committed board of
directors and staff serve you as the Voice of Business in South Africa. Thank you for the warm welcome.
The Spanish Chamber of Commerce has been a driving force in the local economy since the early 2014. As a non-profit organization, the Chamber is dedicated to serving and connecting our members to the consumer community. The year 2023 saw the chamber embark on another audacious calendar of events in our continuous strive forward for our members both on a personal and professional level. We launched a very successful water and renewable energy
conference
in 2022, and last year we also launched a
specialised water conference to a great success. and without doubt. 2023 is going to be a future pillar as we approach the celebration of our first decade in South Africa next year. Advocacy continued to play a larger role in our chamber’s efforts alongside the day to day business impacts and relief to foster our economy and members businesses. I want to express my gratitude to the dedicated SCC Team and members of the Chamber of Commerce who share our vision and work tirelessly to make it a reality. It is through your unwavering support and collaboration that we can achieve our goals and contribute to your businesses’ continued prosperity. As we look ahead to the future, I am filled with optimism for the growth and success of our Chamber. Together, as a united community, we will embrace change, progress, and the boundless potential that lies before us.
Though much has been accomplished there is much more important work to be done. We will continue to be the leading provider of resources and connections for our Members and we will proudly continue to be a driving force for growth in the region.

Sustainability and Life Cycle Costing: The 3CR12 Electrification Masts Case Study There is a worldwide focus to maintain the ecological

planet’s
natural
resources intact, to support current and future generations. Therefore, the focus with metals manufacturing

various components built/constructed needs to ensure
we
impact
minimal
damage
to
our
environment. These
are
concepts
steel
manufactured
