Aspiring equestrians can saddle up for English riding lessons without leaving the city. The sweet barnyard perfume of hay and dirt transports you out of Toronto’s core as soon as you enter the Riding Academy’s historic stable building. MANPUKU It’s impossible to leave this Japanese restaurant, tucked inside the Village by the Grange, without a full belly. Manpuku is meant to be comfort food. And it succeeds—it’s like somebody’s vision of home. My favourite dish is the shigure don.  Impossible de quitter ce restaurant japonais du Village by the Grange autrement que repu. But in the five years since she underwent treatment, Katherine’s been doing some flips of her own.

Thanks to research to discover new treatments, women like Katherine are having their lives put right side up after a cancer diagnosis. That’s why Stand Up To Cancer Canada and Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation have teamed up to accelerate the pace of research done by collaborative teams of scientists working to develop new treatments faster.
