He is using his experience, of more than three decades in this market, to develop a collection that meets a growing demand for innovative products for the 21st century. The SOWDEN range of cookware starts from a simple recognition that the process of cooking and the materials used should vary depending on what it is you’re cooking. Boiling potatoes doesn’t require a special pan: stainless steel will do the job.

But a slow-cooking coq au vin is best in a high grade, heat resistant ceramic with a hard surface that is non-reactive with food and is easy to clean.

SoftCooking treats food with due respect – gently when that’s needed to bring out full flavour. Pots and pans that are fit for purpose.
