Sovini Property Services is a North-West maintenance provider who offer a single contractor approach to all repairs, maintenance and compliance needs including specialist services. We work together with our customers to provide a tailor-made service to meet the range of works required including kitchen replacements, bathroom refurbishments, heating upgrades, external works and planned cyclical works.
We provide a unique offer within the sector including the utilisation of our self-delivery model, in-house material supplier and innovative ICT. We embed social value into the delivery of our day to day works to have a positive impact on society and the environment.
Based on the National TOMs Framework guidelines, this evaluation confirms that additional social value has been created locally through our working practices and activities. It was calculated that £27.25m of value has been delivered in 2023/24; leading to a combined Social Return on Investment (SROI) of £2.14 for every £1 invested.

The social value total combines the impact achieved on behalf of clients, stakeholders and local communities during the financial year 2023-24.
Social impact benefits have been created through local employment, training and education activities provided by Sovini Property Services. These achievements have resulted in the delivery of an impact value of £9.8m.
Sovini Property Services are proud supporters of The Sovini Group’s innovative Pathway into Construction programme.
The initiative invites female students from across the Liverpool City Region to enrol on a week-long programme, gaining valuable work experience in the construction industry.
Working collaboratively with Group partners, Sovini Trade Supplies, Sovini Construction and Teal Scaffold, the programme is designed to challenge stereotypes and break down the stigma for female colleagues in the industry.
The Pathway into Construction programme culminates in an interview skills and CV writing workshop with the Group’s People & Learning Team, to support students in securing future employment.
A detailed review established that 328 colleagues were employed by Sovini Property Services in 2023/24, with 100% considered to be local*.
• 28 apprentices have gained 841 weeks of training
• 18 individuals have gained 39 weeks work experience, including one internship
• 83 learning weeks have been accessed by colleagues, contributing to their personal and professional development.
• Colleagues have visited local schools, providing careers advice and guidance as part of the Apprenticeship Showcase, and in partnership with local schools.
• Colleagues took part in the Try a Trade event at Impact Sefton, to showcase the range of careers available at The Sovini Group, share their experiences, and their professional and educational journeys.

Economic benefits have been established through the local supply chain and the local workforce providing goods and services to businesses and communities across the Northwest. This has resulted in achieving a calculated retained local economic value of £16.98m.
The retained local economic benefit being achieved through the spend by the local workforce, along with the additional benefit that has been achieved through investment in the supply chain.
Our environmental practices are shaped by The Sovini Group’s Net Zero Carbon Commitment, and we’re taking decisive action to tackle our carbon footprint, with our goal being to achieve net zero emissions
Environmental gains have been achieved through areas such as; innovative ways of recycling construction waste, using Euro 6 standard fuel-efficient vehicles, Fleetmatics toolkits, local recruitment and use of local suppliers to create a value of £462k.
Several charitable activities have taken place to benefit local communities, from partnership work, donating labour and services, volunteering, sponsorships and supporting community events and groups. We have proudly achieved a charitable value of £6k.
We proudly collaborated with Group partners Amianto Services to support Impact Sefton in encouraging local young people to try a trade, providing an insight into a career in construction.
Students were able to gain valuable handson experience, through power tool training, electrical circuit training whilst being guided by industry professionals, as well as learning about the dangers of asbestos.
Equilibrium Northwest, a Birkenhead based community interest company, set up the ‘Little Helpers’ programme in an effort to reduce social isolation of parents and carers, whilst raising the aspirations of young children in the area.
We had the pleasure of delivering a session, providing children with a fun insight into the repairs and maintenance we deliver across our affordable homes. Colleagues were on hand to give live demonstrations and to encourage children to participate in activities to help them understand the roles people play in society and how they help us every
We worked collaboratively with Group partner Sovini Trade Supplies to donate valuable good and services to carry out essential repairs ahead of the winter months for Woodlands Hospice, an independent charity committed to delivering the best possible practice and development of specialist palliative care for people with cancer and other
life limiting illnesses across North Liverpool, South Sefton and Kirkby.
Two Bricklayers from the Repairs & Maintenance Team, and father and son duo, Frank and Franics Burcher, volunteered their skills, refilling the outer part of the joints on brickwork where the previous mortar has weathered away, or has been deemed unsuitable.

As a charity we are reliant on corporate businesses for their skills and services, having this support from Sovini Property Services is greatly appreciated by everyone at Woodlands.”
